Has this generation of melinials have gone too far? What causes youth to be so shameless and proud. You've heard the news about the poor Houston teen who was raped at a party and her recipiant posted pics and videos of the act on youtube. Products of their environment and carbon copies of there celebrity idols. These are truely characteristics of Children of Disobedience
God has conditional promises for blessing. The bad news for those who reject God is that he metes out serious punishment for disobedience. In this chapter, it seems that the harsh punishment gives a foreshadowing of how serious it is to die without having accepted Jesus as your Savior -- because his wrath promises actions that sound a lot like going through hellish experiences.
It is a mistake for us to think God is passive and accepting of our disobedience. His punishments are meant to drive us back to our knees in prayer and to enter back into restored relationship with our heavenly Father

Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." In January we talked about making changes, and pursuing our goals with purpose, on purpose. But as Proverbs 4:23 says, our hearts will determine the course of our lives. So for the month of February we will be discussing matters of the heart, and how we can become better guards of our hearts.
I believe that most of us have great intentions, but at some point or another, we all end up falling short. In this first lesson, we will be discussing the roots of disobedience, and how we can kill them before they produce a harvest. The Scripture that we will be referencing is: Matthew 4:1-11.

2Cr 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
In this program I follow through a series of clues and revelations God has given me while in Chicago .... summarizing these I understand and see he has given specifics on what to do and how to do it. This is a continuing warfare series. Understanding the principalities over cities, walking in understanding on who they are and how they operate. Learning these things we discover an empowered form of warfare from the Father.
2Cr 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Moses has a fit of anger which led him to striking the rock from which water would flow instead of speaking to it the way God told him to. Because of this transgression, Moses did not get to enter the Promised Land. The Lord explains to Moses that it is a matter of trust.
This gets me wondering in what ways to I take an action other than what God intends...because of a lack of trust and faith?
We take a good look at verses in the Bible today, that tell us what disobedience is and gives examples. We think we get away with things because judgement does not happen immediately, but God can't forget, unless you ask him to. Jesus has all of the answers let's look and see if I am right. There is a great life waiting for you in Heaven. If you can get rid of the worry on this earth, it might make you look forward to the peace of Heaven.
Today’s Topic: The Unfruitful Works of the Flesh Series Sub Topic: Children of disobedience and wrath
Discussion: I can still remember hearing my mother say, “Loretta, you know better!” or “ I’m disappointed in your behavior, I expect more from you.” I immediately felt remorse for my actions and my mother’s heartbreak and parental suffering. Sometime are intentions are good and not evil, but we are enticed by the desires of our flesh, and if we don’t submit ourselves to a higher authority we error and make mistakes that have a negative impact on us the rest of our lives. Then there are those individuals who are rebellious, disobedience and full of wrath by their own nature, what do you do?
Scripture Text: (Ephesians 2:2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: ( 2:3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

We shared this word today on spreaker and many were hindered from getting it so we are sharing it here on Blog Talk.
Some seem to beleive that being obedient sometimes is better than not being obedient at all; Nothing could be further from the truth. We must be obedient at all times if we're to walk in the blessedness of His goodness.
Come and fellowship with us.
