In our content and internet driven society it is more and more important that entities and brand be capable of telling compelling stories that draw people to their products and causes. Having somthing go viral only means that your story as you told it was compelling enough to get someone else to tell for you or share it for you. Today we will talk about the independent conservative narritive how it has been h-jacked by main stream liberal media. And how we have become reactive instead of proactive.

For a guy born O’Shea Jackson in the perilous South Central section of Los Angeles, Ice Cube has done pretty well for himself. After co-founding the gangsta-rap group NWA in 1988—which would sell more than 10 million albums—he took up acting, writing and directing. By 2013, he'd become his own cottage industry, with $120 million in assets and no less than five film franchises under his belt, including Fridays, Barbershop, Are We There Yet? Ride Along and 21 Jump Street. Of the latter series’ sophomore offering, 22 Jump Street—starring Johan Hill and Tatum Channing—Ice tells us, “It’s something where you know the first one worked and the challenge is to create a whole new meal with the same ingredients. The mistake some people make with sequels is to rely too much on the first movie. You don’t want that. You want a whole new movie that feels the same.”
Gina Prince Bythewood is a rare breed in Hollywood: a black woman who calls the shots behind the camera. And in the case of her directorial debut, it was “shots” of two types that needed tending to. In 1995, after laboring as a TV writer on A Different World and Felicity—and frustrated by her lack of creative control—she penned Love and Basketball, which tells the story of hoops-shooting childhood sweethearts who share a passion for the sport. Five years later, when the film was released, it became the top-grossing film of all time by an African American woman. That success led to a job writing and directing The Secret Life of Bees—featuring the all-star cast of Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and Dakota Fanning. “There were a lot of fights along the way but they were worth it,” Gina tells us of the film. “My biggest argument was that I can just never, ever sit in a theater looking up at my film and be disgusted or disappointed at something I’m watching. I have to believe in every frame.”
