Why People Stay in Verbally, Emotionally, and Physically Abusive Relationships

    in Spirituality

Those who are suffering in abusive relationships lose their sense of self.  They fell for the charm and swagger of the abuser, and did not realize that it was only a mask.  It was the mask-trap of a fiendish and diabolic manipulative personality who carefully chooses his/her victim target.  The charming deceiver is there to crush the life out of its target, and turn the person into an empty dependent non-being.  Their lies are sprinkled with twisted truth, but just enough poisoned truth to trap the unwary soul.("Come into my parlor," said the spider to the fly.).

Who's Talking to Black Folks This Campaign Season???

    in News

Black family. Election season is upon us and as candidate after candidate jockey for or presumed voting power one thing remains evident, the politicians of today aren't speaking to us! They talk at us. They talk over us but none are talking TO us. We are being told what to believe, who to trust, who to vote for, what is priority in our lives and what is not. We are not being asked directly what matters to us and being provided an answer with accountability measures in place.

Hillary Clinton, wife of what many blacks like to deem the First black president Bill Clinton, is making a second run for the presidential seat. The same woman who's brother sits on the board of the VCS Mining Company currently attempting to extract Haiti's gold deposits but has no mining experience. Black family, listen closely. If Haiti is sitting on gold and oil deposits why is a foreign, American/European extension on our family's land stealing their resources? Black woman. We know how much you love to look your best. Imagine you're in the shower or in bed and a guest you opened your doors to ends up stealing all your jewelry and accessories while at the same time leaving a meal on the table for you. How would you react?
Hillary Clinton, the same woman that supported Bill destroying Black and Brown families all across America with the 3 strikes rule. They admitted that the policy was detrimental to our communities. They admitted the errors in the implementation of that policy.

The same woman, who's husband convinced the Haitian people to stop growing their own rice and to purchase rice imports as an alternative. Again, after the fact, they admitted it was the wrong decision to force the Haitian people to make. Democrats in general are killing the Black community seducing us into being dependent on government assistance and subsidies instead of encouraging self sufficiency and independence.

    How to Manage Through Influence

    in Business

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 1-2 pm ET (10-11 am PT).

Last week we talked about how HR leaders achieve talent brand dominance, and this week we’re going to talk about how to manage through influence.

Organizations are becoming more matrixed and less hierarchical every day. Command-and-control corporate structures are relics of the past.

Like most managers today, dealing with flatter organizational structures, outsourcing, and virtual teams are all quite challenging. Because of this, more and more managers need to get things done through their peers inside and outside their organizations.

However, because the world of work has gotten so complex, the very act of change has grown increasingly difficult. Today’s flatter organizations actually give employees and managers much more flexibility in deciding how work gets done, but they also require greater levels of collaboration than ever before. This means that success is often dependent on persuading other individuals and teams to support your projects, even if they’re not direct reports.

This skill is called “managing through influence” and is as critical to success in today’s world as a sterling resume or a tireless work ethic.

Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as they talk about how to manage through influence with this week’s guest: Jim Fields, Vice President of Customer Experience Marketing at SAP, a multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations.

Thank you to all the TalentCulture sponsors, partners and supporters!

    Christian Married Couples & BDSM

    in Religion

BDSM is a variety of erotic practices or roleplaying involving bondage, dominance and submission, sadomasochism, and other interpersonal dynamics. Given the wide range of practices, some of which may be engaged in by people who do not consider themselves as practicing BDSM, inclusion in the BDSM community or subculture is usually dependent on self-identification and shared experience. Interest in BDSM can range from one-time experimentation to a lifestyle.

Should Christian married couples experiment, should they be in the lifestyle... Is there a biblical bases to why Christian married couples should not be involved? Is there a social problem. Share this with your friends and join us this Thursday for just one hour... Call in and leave your two cents where it matters.
