Meet The Host
Selena Roane is the founder of FEAR Paranormal Society, a paranormal investigation team. She is also the host of Close to Death, an internet show about virtually anything paranormal.
In addition to her paranormal team and show, she is an empath and is currently working on developing and enhancing that ability.
Selena attends and speaks at various conferences and has led numerous investigations. She was included as an investigator on the "Shadows of 66" documentary with Chip Coffey, Brad and Barry Klinge in 2013.
The paranormal is Selena's passion. She is continuously researching and learning in an effort to deepen her knowledge and enthusiasm for the field.
Our guest is JONATHAN RATNER, Western Watersheds Project’s Director for Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. Jonathan joined WWP after a stint with the Forest Service in which he documented severe degradation caused by livestock grazing. When his reports were consigned to the ‘round file’ by the Forest Service, he sought out assistance from various area conservation organizations to deal with the problems, all of which declined to help. In his search for assistance farther afield he came across Western Watersheds Project and shortly thereafter started WWP’s Wyoming Office.
Jonathan will talk about public lands ranching, the most widespread commercial use of public lands in the United States. Ranching is one of the primary causes of native species endangerment in the American West; it is also the most significant cause of non-point source water pollution and desertification.
Tonight's show is hosted by Debbie Coffey, V.P. and Dir. of Wild Horse Affairs for Wild Horse Freedom Federation.
Hosted by Debbie Coffey, V.P. & Dir. of Wild Horse Affairs, Wild Horse Freedom Federation
Guest will be: Karen Sussman, President of the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros (ISPMB).
Karen will talk about the history of BLM's push for "sale authority" (so that wild horses & burros could be sent to slaughter), breaking the myth of using PZP fertility control to keep wild horses and burros on the land, and natural management as the best management for wild horses and burros.
The International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros is the oldest wild horse and burro organization in the United States and has been innovative in the field of wild horse and burro protection. Under the leadership of our first president, Velma Johnston, affectionately known as Wild Horse Annie, ISPMB and Annie were responsible for the passage of federal legislation in 1971 that gave protection to wild horses and burros on public lands from death and harassment.

"My passion for the field intensified with the loss of my mom in 2004 and my best friend in 2012. I have recently discovered I am an empath and I’m focusing on developing that ability. I have also recently started filming a new show called Spirit Quest which will be released in 2016."

PEER works to strengthen and enforce scientific integrity rules and data quality laws.
Hosted by Debbie Coffey
Four major wild horse & burro advocacy groups and advocates are uniting to speak out against Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plans for cruel sterilization experiments on wild mares (including pregnant mares). The BLM extended the Environmental Assessment comment period, because AWHPC asked for and received additional documents that the BLM had not made available to the public,

Experimentation at BLM's Wild Horse Corral Facility in Hines, Oregon, but will eventually do sterilizations out in the FIELD.

It's easy to overlook, or not hear, Davis' vast musical contributions, because this giant was unjustly somewhat under the radar in the '60s and early '70s radio mainstream. But he was certainly there all along. He's the impossibly funky drummer behind guitarist Dennis Coffey and organist Lyman Woodard on the legendary, sample-worthy single "River Rouge"/"It's Your Thing"; the evocative lead vocalist on the 8th Day's AM soul staple "You've Got to Crawl (Before You Walk)"; the songwriter who penned J.J. Barnes' desperate ode "Chains of Love," which — in the hands of Detroit rock band the Dirtbombs — served as the musical centerpiece of the 2007 Julian Schnabel art-house film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Songwriter royalties aside, Davis is still not a household name.
Hosted by Debbie Coffey, V.P. and Dir. of Wild Horse Affairs for Wild Horse Freedom Federation.
Our guest is MARJORIE FARABEE, Dir. of Wild Burro Affairs for Wild Horse Freedom Federation, the Equine Mgr. of Todd Mission Ranch (home of TMR Rescue) and founder of Wild Burro Protection League.
For over a year, Marjorie has been investigating the situation at the Black Mountain HMA in Arizona, and alerted the public that the BLM, catering to developers of wind, gas, and agriculture, threatened to roundup many of the few remaining wild burros. Recently, there has been an even bigger threat: the Mojave County Supervisors recklessly suggested selling hunting permits to shoot the wild burros. Find out the latest details in this update.
I've waited a long time to speak about this and hopefully I'll be able to make it on tonight.
