The Word of God requires us to use God's requirements in our daily walk. In Romans 12:1 believers are expected to offer themselves as a living sacrifice unto the Lord because Jesus tells us that it is our reasonable service. We are to walk HOLY and Acceptable unto God. However, what happens if I have stumbled along the way, still struggling with some of the requirements in my Christian walk ? How do I Walk in Restoration? How do I Claim Resurrection even though God is still transforming me? Tune in Friday, November 27, 2015 at 7:30 pm to begin to explore the answers to these challenging questions. Join us as we peel back the layers for the topic of, "Walk In Restoration by Claiming Your Resurrection while Being Transformed." Jesus will be our compass as we taste His responses: just think,He knew we would be thirsting to walk in the righteousness of God.

As we go about our everyday lives, we encounter highs, lows, joy, sadness and various emotions as the world has a tendency to beat us up and bring us joy all at the same time. Some of us will take the good with the bad & keep it moving. We get home and if we're lucky we have someone to vent to and discuss our hectic day with. So many of us are going through trials and tribulations, health issues, financial troubles, living from paycheck to paycheck, or with no check. We' re faced with heartache, disappointment, loneliness, anger, and all too often we aren't able to easily shake it off or to talk about it with someone. We keep issues bottled up, maybe because we don't feel comfortable with sharing with others or we fear judgment for the issues we have or the things we're going through. Do you find yourself looking to the heavens and asking " Why me God?" We've all been there and we all need to be restored! We're seeking answers and questioning "What is going on?" Mind, body, soul & spirit need restoration. Lord, please come by here and restore our minds, bodies, souls and spirits.
Peace & Blessings,
Lesa M. Belle

Listen to this special edition of the Pan-African Journal hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW reports with dispatches on the historical ties between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Zimbabwe; leading politicians in the Federal Republic of Nigeria have given newly-elected President Muhammadu Buhari an ultimatum to resolve the fuel shortage within two weeks; anti-racist activists in Chicago have threatened to shutdown "Black Friday" shopping in the Loop in response to the failure of the mayor to fire the police chief after stalling the release of a video showing the blatant killing of an African American youth; and Minneapolis protests are continuing in the aftermath of the cop killing of Jamar Clark. In the second hour we pay tribute to Cynthia Robinson, the legendary trumpeter and co-founder of the classic Rock and R&B band Sly and the Family Stone who passed away earlier this week at the age of 69. We will also feature a rare archival interview with the immortal Langston Hughes from 1963 where he discusses his work schedules and race relations in the United States. Finally in the last hour we honor the 73rd birthday of Jimi Hendrix who revolutionized guitar playing and popular music during the 1960s. Hendrix died under mysterious circumstances on September 18, 1970 in London.
This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!
