SORT BY Relevancy
On this evening we were blessed by the Almighty to speak with a supremely gifted King known as Blak Smith, he is a author, speaker, hip hop historian, nutritionist, artist and revolutionary thought leader - and so much more, too much to list here - who saw through the satanic corporate takeover of our beloved Hip Hop Culture/Rap Music and how our unaware youth are prostituted by their own aspirations in handing over their unique talents for pennies on the dollar while influencing the gullible of our people down the road of total destruction in the worst way possible, through our own culture and music.
This was a very informative and exchange that's rare in comparison to the high levels of buffoonery spread across the cyber diaspora and chock full of the knowledge that we here at ScurvMedia strongly suggest should be listened to and absorbed by all.
.......especially those who seek to enter the entertainment industry.

Bordentown School -volunteers needed - restoration underway with volunteer electrical contractor John White! A museum on the once thriving black school's cam[us kknown as The Tuskegee of The North is John's Mission.
The Bordentown school, was originally established in 1886 by Rev. W. A. Rice, a minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, as a private institution under the name of New Brunswick Technical School. It was later called "The Ironsides Normal School." in honor of Commodore Stewart the benefactor of t Bordentown's Campus, his 350 acre estate .
Reverend Walter A.S. Rice of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in New Brunswick founded the Bordentown School in 1876 as New Brunswick Technical Institute a privately supported educational entity. Reverend Rice’s mission was to educate African American students of both sexes and train them “in such industries as shall enable them to become self-supporting”. The school was founded just five years after the famous Tuskegee Institute in Alabama was formed. It was known as the Tuskegee of The North"
The school relocated to Bordentown City in 1886, where it was shrewdly renamed and incorporated as the New Jersey Manual Training and Industrial School for Colored Youth. The name change from Technical Institute to Manual Training was an insult to the founders and it was the beginning of the propaganda campaign against black educational institutions, as a continuation of slave labor. The donor of the property, Commander Stewart, the oldest enlistee in the Civil War and an Irish activist demanded in his will that his property be used for training purposes- the State of New Jersey believes they meet the requirements, insofar as they offer training courses to their detainees.
Join me with my very special guest
Leah Albright-Byrd Executive Director & Founder of Bridget's Dream. We discuss her passion to combat and help victims of sexual exploitation.
A nationally known survivor-activist, consultant and trainer in the fight against child sex-trafficking. Her strong voice and unwavering commitment to “help victims become survivors and learn to dream again” inspires people to wage war against social injustice.
"The sex-trafficking of children and youth in the United States CAN BE PREVENTED! Together, we must educate, empower, and equip our youth so that they never experience the ravishing effects of sex-trafficking. This is how we prevent!"
"Direct intervention in the lives of those who have been commercially sexually exploited is the first step towards healing & transformation. We reach victims directly and provide crisis care to those looking to escape. This is how we INTERVENE!"
Restoration is a long-term journey that requires discovery of meaning and purpose beyond the ravishing effects of the trauma inflicted through exploitation. Survivors need loving trauma-informed care so that they can experience healing!
Let us take a look at why people do break up their marriages and marry again. How are we to respond to this and deal with it in the life of the Church? The fact that divorce was permitted in both Testaments, as we shall see, indicates that people failed to live up to the revealed will of God. And the permitting of divorce did not in any way bring with it the approval and blessing of God. Rather, those whose marriages failed had to find spiritual restoration and healing before they could move forward in their walk with God. It would be foolish to enter a second marriage without trying to sort out and deal with what went wrong in the first. I have a dream...Celebrating Out 50 Years of Jubilee!
Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Cilvil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality.
So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our famillies and our communities?
Fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we Celebrate our Jubilee and join in that movement of teaching us all to evolve in our beliefs, values and purpose for elevation of our consciousness into the greatness that lies in the Human Spirit.
Our ancesters from Africa knew the power of connection to the Divine, and honoring the human-ness in each other. I invite you to remember the greatness of our people, and let's have conversations that inspires us all to take action to "Heal what's hurting our Black Community."
We are powerful, and we rise!
Join us for an interview with psychologist, Dr. Eric Greenleaf, as we continue our exploration of the existential, historical, and cultural roots of violence.
