    Overview: Consumer Debt Negotiation Training Manual

    Hello folks, and thank you for joining me for another episode of the ADR-NOW! Internet Radio Show.  I am your host, Anthony Johnson.
    In this episode, we will explore the intricacies of consumer debt and how to effectively negotiate with a debt collector on a presumed debt.  Our new Consumer Debt Negotiation Training Manual is designed to assist you as a DIY guide to consumer debt negotiation.  Lenders have written off over $3.2 trillion of consumer debt of all type since September 2007, according to Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Analytics.  That figure has risen since that time.
    Also, more than 450 debt buyers have scooped up more than $100 billion in distressed loans last year, according to the latest estimates by Kaulkin Ginsburg,  a debt-collection industry advisor.
    Folks, there is a lot of debt to be collected and the debt collectors are coming!  You need to know how to beat back the collection activity and learn how to negotiate effectively with the debt collector when he/she calls.  Most times, the debt probably isn't yours, or the debt collector will not have the appropriate documentation to confirm the debt.  We will train you how to recognize these and other characteristics to ensure you are not a victim in this consumer debt crisis.
    If you have been repeatedly phoned by a debt collector, have received communication from a debt collector via mail in regards to a debt, or you just want to be proactive in your debt situation, you must tune in!

    Consumer Debt Training Manual - The Debt Validation Strategy

    In this episode we will cover "The Debt Validation Strategy" and illustrate the process of effectively negotiating with a debt collector on a presumed debt.  We will continue the discussion of how to establish the paper trail in the event you will need to sue the debt collector, original creditor, or the credit bureaus for non-compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), or Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
    We will revisit the statute of limitations and its applicability, sample letters, and the method behind the negotiation strategy.
    If you have been contacted by a debt collector, received your credit bureau report and have noticed derogatory items thereon, or just want to be proactive in keeping your credit and good name up to par, you must tune in!

    The House is already gone .... The Senate leaves soon. With both Chambers gone until after the New Year rings in. When they come back things will be vastly different. With the GOP in the driver's seat in  Congress and Obama still wielding his phone and pen, there is much opportunity for compromise and even greater chance of disasterous head butting. ~~~~ 

    But right now it's Christmas so maybe Santa will bring us something to cheer about in Washington. ~~~~
