    2014 Colorado State football preview

    in Sports

Jeremy and Chris are back to preview the Colorado State Rams, and not to give away the show but Colorado State should be able to build upon last years success. There is an issue of two particular position groups that could make or break the Rams season in 2014.

Also, what happens if Colorado State is too good in the upcoming season, could they see head coach Jim McElwain roaming a different sideline in 2015?

    Episode 26: Chris Bonner/QB/Colorado State-Pueblo

    in Football

Episode 26: Colorado State-Pueblo Quarterback Chris Bonner and his team won the Division 2 National Championship in 2014. He is a big, strong passer with a cannon for an arm. Chris has the ability to extend plays with nifty footwork and the strength to shed pass rushers trying to bring him down. Importantly, he keeps his eyes downfield while manipulating the pocket. Furthermore, he suffered from a lot of dropped passes by his wide receivers. Unlike, many other quarterbacks entering the NFL, he played in a pro style offense. This means that he is used to NFL routes that he will have to complete as well as going up against coverages that are more reminicent of those used by pro defenses. After winning the National Title, he was invited and participated in the Medal of Honor Bowl where he had a nice outing. On the flipside of the coin, Chris has only adequate accuracy and decision making skills. If he is able to improve substantially in these areas then he may reach his ceiling of a good to very good starting quarterback in the NFL.

Boston College Week 5 Preview: Colorado State Rams

    in Sports

The Eagles are 3-1 after beating the Maine Black Bears back to Northern New England.  But questions still loom about this Boston College team - are they good enough to win another big game, how dominant can the running game be, and what is up next for Ryan Day, Steve Addazio, and Don Brown.  How will BC handle a team we really don't know all that much about, and can they end the month of September needing just two more games to be bowling?

Join Dan and AJ as they're joined by the Mountain West Conference.  Colorado State's coming for Saturday, making this yet another can't miss show!
