EFT Business Fear #19: What if no one wants to work with me?

    in Self Help

During your EFT certification training, you’ll have been tapping with ‘buddies’ regularly, building your confidence and skill set.  But what happens when you’re out of that familiar comfort zone? How will you attract paying clients and is there a guarantee they’ll want to work with you?

Join Annabel and Tammy Hahn and tap along to clear any fears and limitations around rejection.

Tammy Hahn has spent the last 25 years working as a Registered Nurse within various healthcare sectors. During that time she completed Coach Certification and has been devoted to learning and personal development.  Throughout her career she had always felt she was working at the wrong end of the spectrum preferring to work with people committed to living the life of their dreams.  Now, as an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner and pursuing Advanced EFT Certification through AAMET, Tammy has left the safety of a regular job and is committed to clearing the fears that get in the way of having the life she chooses.

Annabel Fisher started her EFT Practice on a shoestring. Still experiencing many of the side effects of serious CFS, she used her experiences to establish a niche working with chronically ill clients, and created a 6-figure business after clearing many limiting beliefs including the biggest: “People who are very ill can’t afford to pay for my services”. A Certified EFT and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner and Trainer, she now focuses her attention on training and mentoring students to become masterful Certified EFT & MR Practitioners, and empowering them to create wildly successful EFT Practices.

The Plight of our Children, discussion w/Dr. Kenneth Patterson

    in Entertainment

What direction is our youth headed in.. are they headed down a path to destruction? Seems like everywhere we turn, there is more rap music that seems to capture our children and turn them into someone they are not. Often on the corner selling drugs, turning tricks, being shot, or going to jail. Or are they catching on to the positivity of role models? Not just the tv role models that perpetrate for the money, but rather someone that is in the local community making an impact. Join in on the discussion with Dr. Kenneth Patterson, April 16th @ 7PM EST. Log onto www.blogtalkradio.com/eftradio2, call in and be apart of the discussion at 713-955-0783, or just listen in.

After the Honeymoon, the drive starts to vanish. Myth or Fact?

    in Romance

After the Honeymoon, the sex drive starts to vanish.  Myth or Fact?

Today’s wives are as busy as their husbands.  Wives are not only doing the job of mothering children; they are also the housekeeper, the student, the Corporate Director, the ministry leader or some are even Pastoring churches.  With all this going on sex and intimacy, falls into a category of “when I can get to it”.   Many wives say they try to be sensitive to their husband’s drive considering they seem to “always be in the mood”.  Truth be told wives have been known to say they don’t see the need for all that.  Men, on the other hand, daily initiate the pursuit knowing that it may be a challenge.  They hopelessly search for any given opportunity to “kick off the flames of intimacy”.  From the wives undressing to a subtle suggestion of what meal they want…a husband can be tired and beat but will spark to the moment if given the right suggestion.  What happen to the eye candy, firm body, man that kept you wanting him during the dating season?  Where the woman who you knew is would keep you endowed all night?  After the Honeymoon…did the drive disappear?  Is this what they say about married people having less sex a Myth or is it a Fact? Are singles having all the fun?

    Hot one tonight!

Call in to be a part of the audience. (347)-215-9556.

What to do if your Honey do, won’t.  Bringing the fire back.

Youth and Raising an Atypical Child

    in Family

Join co-hosts Eric Komoroff (www.communityofunity.org) and Dr. Jason Stein (iRyze.com) as they discuss the important issue of raising the atypical child. The hosts will be joined by Rita Eichenstein, PhD, who was penned a guide for parents who are struggling with their ‘atypical’ child; be it ADHD, Autism, a learning disability or any other diagnosis.  Dr. Eichenstein, a clinical psychologist, notes that the tendency to just focus on the child’s well being is only half the journey; because much of the child’s ultimate mental well being rests largely on the well-being of the parents and she provides tools and understanding to help parents work through the often discouraging process of raising a child with any type of difference.  If you are a parent who wants help in coping with the challenges of raising an atypical child, or a professional who wants to get a better idea of how better to understand the parents of the children they work with, listen to these childcare experts talk about the issues.

Parenting With a Story: Real-Life Lessons in Character for Parents and Children

    in Family

Children's Corner: Parenting With a Story: Real-Life Lessons in Character for Parents and Children to Share with Paul Smith

Tell a young person what to do - play fair, be yourself, stick to the task at hand - and most will tune you out. But show them how choices and consequences play out in the real world, with real people, and the impact will be far more profound. Parenting with a Story gathers 101 narratives from people around the world and from all walks of life, reflecting unexpected moments of clarity about who they are and how they should treat others.

The lessons illuminate the power of character - integrity, curiosity, creativity, grit, kindness, patience, gratitude, and more - to prepare us for anything. Sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes funny, always compelling, these stories impart wisdom and help steer choices about: Resisting peer pressure; Remaining open-minded; Being humble; Making courageous decisions; Standing by their word; Bouncing back from failure; Showing compassion; and, Picking friends wisely. Stories help shape who we are and who we aspire to become. Share these, discuss them, and watch your child grow into the adult you'll be proud of.

Paul Smith is a popular keynote speaker and corporate trainer in leadership and storytelling techniques, a former executive and 20-year veteran of The Procter & Gamble Company, and the author of two books: Lead with a Story: A Guide to Crafting Business Narratives That Captivate, Convince, and Inspire; and Parenting with a Story: Real-life Lessons in Character for Parents and Children to Share.
