    in Spirituality

Candace has written for numerous media, including Adweek, Business Week, Week, the Dallas Times Herald, Forbes, the International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, and Reuters America. She has also been a syndicated political columnist whose works have appeared in publications such as Liberal Opinion Week. This therapy also helped her become familiar with the intimate link between spirituality, energy, and healing. It introduced her to some of her past lives and those of family and friends. Based on these experiences, she co-authored and published Hope is in the Garden—--Healing Resolution Through Unconditional Love. This nonfiction explores emotional and spiritual healing resolution based on the Sunan method of working in the energy of human consciousness. In this book, she provides an expanded definition of energy that demonstrates the connection between matter, spirit, mind, and heart. Candace and her co-author, Jana L. Simons, have published new nonfiction titled, The Healing Circle—How Anyone Can Contact the Other Side. This spiritual self-help book teaches readers how to contact not only departed loved ones, but children who are not yet born.

On the Air With Sierra Kay

    in Entertainment

Author and public speaker Sierra Kay's love of the written word was predestined.  Her mother concerned with the state of the public education system in Chicago encouraged her to read anything that she could get her hands on, including the spelling bee word list that appeared in the Chicago Tribune each year.

She was weaned on books like Anne of the Green Gables and Tale of Two Cities.  She snuck in romance novels that she hid between her mattresses.  However, her favorite book growing up was Aesop's Fables, which she feels puts her in an excellent position to share the moral's of her personal stories, whether people are interested or not.

Kay has an M.A. in Writing from DePaul University, won a Nuyorican Poets Cafe Short Story Slam and participated in Women’s Funny Fest as a member of the comedy troupe Spankx.  In addition to writing novels, she is a member of N2O Comedy in Chicago.

White Girl Bleed A Lot - Colin Flaherty

    in Politics Conservative

Racial tension and violence in the Black community is at an all time high.  People of all races are scared and also tired of not feeling safe in their own neighborhoods.  Recent acts of violence, riots, and murders have set us all on edge.

Today I am honored to have as my guest Colin Flaherty.

Colin Flaherty is an award winning reporter and author of the #1 best selling book White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it.

His new book is Knockout Game a Lie? Aww, Hell No.

Both books are about black mob violence, black on white crime and the Knockout Game.

His  work has appeared in more than 1000 news sites around the world, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine.  His story about how a black man was unjustly convicted of trying to kill his white girlfriend resulted in his release from state prison and was featured on Court TV, NPR, The Los Angeles Times and San Diego Union-Tribune.

Thomas Sowell: ”Reading Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.” – National Review.

Sean Hannity: White Girl Bleed a Lot  “has gone viral.”

Allen West: “At least author Colin Flaherty is tackling this issue (of racial violence and black on white crime) in his new book, White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it.“

Los Angeles Times: “a favorite of conservative voices.”
