Join us as we learn about Essential Oils; we'll discuss what they are, their applications and the don’ts!!!
Our special guest, Tyreese Joseph, will cover these questions and so much more. Ty, as most people call her is a stay-at-home wife and mother. She is also pursuing a double major in Communication and Marketing. Born in Baltimore, MD she now calls North Carolina, her home, for the past 15 years. The state is dear to her, she says, not just because up until one generation ago her maternal ancestors had settled in Sampson County since 1860"s, but also because of the powerful life changing events that have happened since she came to the state back in 1999. She meet and married a Godly man, gave birth to her only son after 5 years of trying and most importantly, God led her to a wonderful church and she accepted Christ as her Savior. Ty's guiding belief is that our God is a good and loving God and He has made every provision for every aspect of her being, I know He loved me enough to send His only begotten Son to die for me and save my soul, Ty states. How can I believe He would be remiss in caring for my physical needs as well? So, when I found relief for an ongoing issue using the oil of a particular ordinary plant, I was hooked on essential oils!

Over the Top Radio is starting a new show centered around women's cycling which will be co-hosted with Robin Farina. In this, our introductory program, we'll discuss future guests, the 2014 cycling season, 2015 cycling season and pertinent issues facing women in cycling.
Robin Farina : Robin began her cycling career over 13 years ago after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sports Management. She has raced on several professional teams throughout her career and is the former 2011 National Road Race Champion and a 2012 Olympic long team member.
When not on the bike, her time is spent overseeing the newly formed Women’s Cycling Association (WCA) grow and become a global movement for women’s equality in sport and life. After several years of racing at the highest level, Robin saw the need to help Women’s Professional Cycling become a stable platform for future cyclists. The main goal is help achieve equity and help people see the health benefits through riding bikes. Robin’s main objective is to help grow cycling at the grassroots level. “The sport of cycling will gain more fans and more exposure which will in turn give more women the opportunity to race.” Her passion for sport and the sport of cycling drives her to stay dedicated and lead the charge for a positive change. Through the WCA, she dedicates her efforts to helping various philanthropic organizations such as World Bicycle Relief and the American Diabetes Association – Tour de Cure series. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the US Bicycling Hall of Fame.

Teachers behaving badly. What makes someone with authority have sex with a innocent kid. We lookat Teachers giving their students and F. A new film giving people pause. Is this a hate film coming out? Is mocking white people reverse racist.
Winner of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival's Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent, Dear White People is a sly, provocative satire of race relations in the age of Obama. Writer/director Justin Simien follows a group of African American students as they navigate campus life and racial politics at a predominantly white college in a sharp and funny feature film debut that earned him a spot on Variety's annual "10 Directors to Watch." When Dear White People screened at MOMA's prestigious New Directors/New Films, the New York Times' A.O. Scott wrote, "Seeming to draw equal measures of inspiration from Whit Stillman and Spike Lee, but with his own tart, elegant sensibility very much in control, Mr. Simien evokes familiar campus stereotypes only to smash them and rearrange the pieces."The unexpected election of activist Samantha White (Tessa Thompson) as head of a traditionally black residence hall sets up a college campus culture war that challenges conventional notions of what it means to be black. 3 Tips for managing stress and feeling confident and calm by Barb Schmidt author, THE PRACTICE
1. Meditation- The first tip I always suggest is meditation. Starting your day in stillness and peace is setting the tone for your whole day. In a five minute meditation you are training your mind by placing your attention on your breath, not engaging the thoughts, practicing being patient, and spending time with yourself, connecting with that deep place of calmness and strength. This time in the morning grounds you as you go into your day with the knowing you are carrying this peace with you. You’ve taken this precious time to be present with your breath; with yourself.
2. Breathe. Give yourself permission to Stop! Even in the most stressful or chaotic situations, I find that if I just take a small step back, close my eyes and focus on my breath, for just a minute, I find peace and relief. Many times we get caught up with the whirlwind of life and forget to breathe! Having this one small tip in your back pocket can bring so much clarity to your life.
3. Stay in the present moment. Do not allow your mind to wander back to what has already transpired or forward to the “what ifs” of the future. Gently bring your mind back to the present, with your breath, an affirmation or your sacred mantra, to what is right now, and tackle any problem you may be experiencing from there. You are in control of your own mind, produce thoughts that are beneficial for your life in this very moment
