Paranormal Mysteries: What Happened To ELisa Lam?

    in Paranormal

    Friday, February 5th  10pm ET / 9pm CT / 7pm PT

There are mysteries that are so eerie and strange that they boggle the mind for days on end. The case of Elisa Lam is one of them. In February 2013, this 21-year-old student from Vancouver, Canada, was found dead inside the Cecil Hotel’s rooftop water tank in Los Angeles.

The L.A. County Department of Coroner ruled the death “accidental due to drowning” and said no traces of drugs or alcohol were found during the autopsy. However, there is much more to the story than what is implied by police reports.

Join Luci and Anthony on the Anniversary of her death as they reveal some of the facts from the case, history of murder, suicide and paranormal activity at the hotel, and some interesting findings about Elisa and the hotel surroundings. It will be a night of mystery and suspense!

The Don S. McClure Show Live - The Pursuit of bringing Jazz and building stronger networks

Tonight’s: Topic The Pursuit of Jazz Our special extended show will take a look at the music of Jazz. Audio Recording by from Billie Taylor so this is jazz and interpretations from those who played and created jazz to those who study the history of jazz from the BBC perspective.

I grew up in a home with older brothers who loved the music of jazz, and I became aware of many names like Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Stan Gets, Monk and Dakota Staton, Kenny Burrell and Joe Sample just to name a few and of course Louis Armstrong. But there were many others my older brothers introduced me because they played in a jazz group themselves. My older brother Marvin played in his own Jazz group and made a recording of Fly me to the Moon. My Brother Roland also played Jazz while he created many of his artist drawing and while he entertained many of his friends in our home.  My mother and father loved Louis Armstrong and Sarah Vaugh but my favorite singer was Dakota Staton and Nancy Wilson as I grew up hearing the music of Jazz.

The audios are part one of The History of Jazz and part two the BBC look at Jazz and Louis Armstrong.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS! WHY WE MUST KEEP THEM TODAY! Sermon By Apostle Jeshurum

    in Religion

One of the most SPECTACULAR and MOST MEMORABLE movies that Hollywood ever made has been without a doubt: "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS" By producer/director Cecil B de Mile and starting CHARLTON HESTON!

The dramatic scenes and FANTASTIC "SPECIAL EFFECTS" always gave me "goose bumps" and an inspiring feeling of AWE AND WONDER every time Moses would lift up the staff and would shout: "BEHOLD THE POWER FO THE LORD"! It is INDEED One of the most moving and fascinating stories of ALL TIME!

For ages traditional Christianity based on a missundrstanding of the Scriptures found in Romans, 6, 7 and 8 have taught and preached that "THE LAW OF GOD": "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS" have been done away with and that Jesus supposedly had nailed them to the cross

TODAY WE WILL EXAMINE IF INDEED THAT IS THE CASE AND WHY THE LAW OF GOD STILL STANDS AND WE MUST OBEY HIM BY KEEPING THOSE COMMANDMENTS!

    The Coal Miner

    in Politics

The nation pledged to the coal miners’ union in 1946 that, in exchange for their dangerous but critical work, miners’ pensions and health care would always be secure. Letting the UMWA pension fund collapse would be foolhardy as well as inhumane, costing taxpayers more in the long run while also endangering the government’s Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. But the UMWA endorsed McConnell’s Democratic opponent in 2014; non-union coal companies, such as Joe Craft’s Alliance Resource Partners, are thought to oppose the measure. In this season of giving, McConnell naturally wants to thank Craft for the millions of dollars he’s given Republican candidates and committees. But McConnell should find a way that does not deprive retired miners and their widows of benefits they were promised and earned..kentucky.com Lexington Herald Leader
