ALL choices have consequences. Sometimes they're good, and sometimes they're...not so good. But every choice has a consequence. It seems like, in this day and age, that the more choices we have, the less we expect the consequences. To contrast this...taking responsibility for your choices is a sign of maturity, and it's extremely rare today. So, what does the Bible say about choices and consequences? Quite a bit. The Bible is full of examples of people who made foolish choices and suffered the consequences, and also people who made choices that resulted in very good consequences. Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine talk about how choices and consequences influence a Dunamas life.
As always, we welcome your comments and questions through Facebook (Dunamas Center Ministries), and Twitter (@YourDunamasLife).
Watch for Dr Pauline's new book, "Won't Somebody Please Hear Me? Healing from Birth Traumatomology Syndrome"...Coming soon!

I first heard Theo Androus back in 2003. The Catholic Herald shares a little about Theo:
On a Wednesday evening in 1999, the slightly built Androus took a shot at goal in a coed soccer game in Alexandria, but never saw the 6-foot 3-inch, 240-lb goalie who crashed into him. The impact shattered two bones beneath Androus’ knee into six pieces, causing "unbelievable pain," he recalled. He was taken to INOVA Alexandria Hospital where surgeons stabilized the fracture, inserting a titanium rod through the center of his tibia. Androus spent a month in bed and three months in a wheelchair recovering from the injury.
Androus, who wore leg braces as a child to correct a congenital condition and survived a head-on car crash on the George Washington Parkway in 1989, said he had to set a goal for himself in order to get well. His goal was running the 2000 Marine Corps Marathon.
"Life is about making choices," Androus told the assembly. As an Ireton student, he didn’t see the point of studying geometry or trigonometry and remembers begging math teacher Richard Bulcavage for a C, but publicly thanked him last week for giving him a D, the grade he deserved. Androus said he regretted never having had the chance to thank the late Coach James McGrath for his influence. "You have people here who care so much about you," Androus said."

Richard had the world in the palm of his hand with the love of his wife, child, and friends. There was nothing Richard wanted more except more time with his wife, Vivian. Four years after they got married and two years after the birth of their daughter, Eva, Vivian was killed in a car accident leaving Richard behind to cope with the loss of his better half. Richard and Vivian’s childhood friends, Tara and Dylan, and his mother, Lena, aided Richard in the process of getting on with his life. Vivian’s death caused a shakeup among the family, but nothing was compared to Lena’s wrath when Richard betrayed Vivian by marrying Tara, just two years later.
Years later Richard still struggled with Vivian’s passing as he tried to keep Tara and Lena from killing each other. Lena loved Vivian like a daughter and was not happy about anyone taking her place, especially Tara. While Lena spent her time plotting to get Tara away from her son and grand-daughter, Tara fought for her husband’s attention from Vivian’s overshadowing memory. And, just when Tara thought it was safe to let her guard down her worst nightmare came back for vengeance-- Vivian.
Despite the shock of Vivian’s return, Lena thanked the powers that be; while Richard felt stuck between the undead wife and the current wife. Vivian has come back to claim her rightful place between her husband and daughter, yet she hadn’t planned on Richard giving his hear to her best friend. At the request of a marriage counselor, Richard is required to spend a full evening alone with Vivian to get down to the truth in order to decide if he is ready to forgive her and resume their life together, or let her go and move on with Tara. When all of the secrets are brought to the light, will Vivian need a fall guy or will she be thrown under the bus with the ULTIMATE Betrayal Between the Sheets.

Nico Rosberg won the Grand Prix in Monaco with the help of a strategic blunder.
Starting on pole was pivotal for Lewis Hamilton, who was almost certain to win the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco. Hamilton maintained the lead throughout the race and had a 19 second lead over teammate Nico Rosberg. No one could have overtaken him on that particular track, and no one could have taken the race from him until, lap 65, when the youngest driver in Formula 1 Max Verstappen ran head on into the barriers while trying to overtake, Romain Grojean.
A virtual safety car (VSC) was in effect which would have maintained the status quo for the position of drivers, but suddenly, an actual safety car was deployed, and the Mercedes strategist called Hamilton in to pit for a tire change. The move was shocking to fans and the media since Hamilton’s tires were holding up just fine, and he had only 14 laps to go. Mercedes called Hamilton in while Vettel who was in third, and Rosberg in second, stayed out and advanced their positions. By the time Hamilton rejoined the group, he was in third, Vettel was ahead of him in second and Rosberg ahead of Vettel in first. Although Hamilton is still leading the drivers, championship, this was a painful loss. Every other word heard around the F1 universe has been “robbed, Hamilton was robbed.” Fans believe Hamilton is rightfully upset that such a blunder by his strategist could cost him so much. He has consistently praised and thanked his team, even when they mess up his pit stops but by all accounts, this was a bridge too far. Now, fans are asking, “Can Lewis trust the people he depends on?” Coming in fourth and fifth were the Red Bulls, Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen held onto sixth and an impressive drive by Force India’s Sergio Perez, and McLaren driver Jenson Button, put them in seventh and eighth, respectively.
