Hosts: Jamel, Derrick Dwayne and Flash Gotti

#MyRealTalkRadio interviews Actor: Marcus Paulk & Singer/Songwriter: Sammie.

Paulk began guest appearing on some of network TV's most notable and talked about prime time shows. Shows like "Me and the Boys", "Thea", "Grace Under Fire", "Martin", "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air", and many more. In 1996 Paulk heightened his career as alter ego Myles Mitchell alongside R&B songstress Brandy playing his older sister "Moesha". What seemed like such a small role matriculated into 6 seasons of pranks, laughter, joy and sorrow for Paulk. So much so, that Hollywood had to stop and take notice to this child prodigy.

Sammie Lee Bush Jr. (born March 1, 1987), better known by Sammie and Leigh Bush, is an American R&B singer. He is best known for his hit, "I Like It" (1999) from his debut album, From the Bottom to the Top (2000). He returned with his second studio album, Sammie in 2006. PMP: Bringing Race to the Table, talking the hard talk

    in Spirituality

Bringing Race to the Table: Exploring Racism in the Pagan Community editors Crystal Blanton, Taylor Ellwood and Brandy Williams join KaliSara and RevKess for a conversation about this much needed book and conversation in the modern Pagan world. Adding to the conversation started, in part, with the books Shades of Faith and Shades of Ritual, Crystal, Taylor, and Brandy have put together a collection of articles and essays on the topics in a manner that helps the reader to understand some of the issues involved. With personal essays, academic essays, and responses from allies, the anthology brings racism in the Pagan world in a way that is easy to understand and address. RevKess and KaliSara have been looking foward to doing this show, this is a conversation that they both feel should be addressed.

From the book description: Each section of the anthology explores different facets of racism and how the Pagan community respond to it. Section 1: People of Color's experience with Racism shares candid stories of how people of color have experienced racism in both subtle and overt forms, as well as how they have handled it. Section 2 Historical/Mythological Racism focuses on how Racism has shown up in mythological and historical contexts, as well as how it continues to show up in counter cultures. The final section: Being an Ally focuses on sharing suggestions and ideas on how white people can be better allies to people of color and how to be more aware of racism in both the Pagan and mainstream communities.

Independent Everything: LIVE with the Blonde Phenom ~ Brandy Li

    in Music

Born in Chattanooga, TN, and raised by her grandmother, Brandy Li's love for music grew as she used it to escape the harsh realities inflicted by the trauma from her father and his life as an inmate on death row at a maximum security institution for murder (1 of his victims being her mother). Her passion for lyrics blossomed as she'd seek clever rhymes to say on the mic for her uncle who happened to be a successful and local DJ. She was later signed to an indie label where she wrote and recorded with several platinum artists including, Big V of the Nappy Roots and Sutta Kane of Pinney woods who has done songs with The Game, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West. She wrote her single, Pumpin Gas, while in the studio vibing with a producer in Atlanta, Kevin Freeman, aka. Big Block. They shot some video of them in the studio, took the plastic off final cut pro without knowing how to use it, then released the results on You Tube where the song/video received a lot of likes and downloads for an indie artist with no budget. The song was featured on Coast to Coast's mixtape, #NextUp vol. 24 and in Coast to Coast Magazine. Her next Single, Touch Your Butt, just dropped a few days ago in April, 2015. Brandy Li has had over 200k+ views, comments, reposts, downloads, etc. in her first week. She is slated to write with a grammy awarded producer on some industry projects while working on an album; and, is currently working on a single with another grammy nominated producer in Nashville. She is on fire! Expect Big Things From Brandy Li. #STAYTUNED
