Are you a parent of an ADHD child? Do you have ADHD? Do you beat yourself up for being a bad parent, not playing with your kid, pacifying them with electronics? It's possible the elephant in the room is boredom, and you’re not alone. Many adults with ADHD struggle to play with their kids, particularly if it's not stimulating. In this episode of Attention Talk Radio, we interview Caroline Maguire (www.necoaching.com), an ADHD mom with ADHD kids, and talk about that experience of boredom and how you’re not actually a bad parent. If this speaks to you, you have to tune into the show.

Gregarious Greg shares an eight minute podcast about the boredom syndrome. This segment is meant to be inspirational and motivating. Greg has placed this segment in the M.E.T project format.
There exist pitfalls when trying to evolve your own legacy. In moments of stagnation and confusion, it is important to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Therefore Greg has shared examples of the boredom syndrome. He reminds his audience that his father was a scientist; this profession involved extensive research. It is with this in mind that Greg decided to place this podcast in the segment dedicated to his father.

Does your ideal lifetime journey include happiness and prosperity? What would you be doing to get that happiness and prosperity if you didn't have to go to work and respond to the same boring responsibilities, day after day? Can you see yourself doing something different with your short working life? Can you understand that doing something you would love to do (have in your life day after day) could be the right path for you?
You have been on the path your whole life, but, you weren't taught how to use your time for you happiness, instead, you were taught to get a job and make money. Your guidance counselors (the adults) didn't care as much about your happiness as your being able to support yourself when you stepped-out on your own. Boredom did not cross their mind, survival did. Get out of that survival mode with me, for a bit today, and, let's see if you can create a new twist in your journey into happiness and prosperity -- the one you knew you wanted to be on. This is not twisted! This is not religion, this is not politics, this is about you baby!
If you are happy, really happy, chances are the people around you will be happier, too, unless, you fail to clue them in! Don't force anyone to do anything. Independence is what you were searching for, and, that is where you found moments of peace!

What is it that you could do that others would willing exchange values with you? I am not speaking about prostitution or selling illegal drugs because you can still get busted for being on either end of that exchange. I am planning to cause you to wonder what you would do if no one had power over you, and you weren't sinking in boredom but were instead soaring with exhilaration for life! What makes your partner purr and what makes your partner meow like something is missing in life? How can you keep the happy?
Denise Griffitts interviews author, speaker, and engagement evangelist Ruth Ross.
A journey with a destination that only you can choose. A journey that will ignite your life and refuel your career.
Corporate leaders, midcareer professionals, entrepreneurs and others have sought Ruth Ross out as their guide because she took this journey herself. To her amazement, she realized she was not alone in her feelings of disenfranchisement, anxiety, boredom and apathy.
Then, she did what many of us think about but rarely do: Stop. Reassess. And commit to the life she wanted to lead.
The result is that Ruth created resources to help leaders identify whether the “disengagement disease” is infecting their organizations — or even themselves.
As a successful HR executive for top Fortune 500 companies, she realized she felt held hostage by the trappings that come with a “big job.” She was an influencer at her company, yet she felt invisible. Perhaps even more debilitating, she recognized that her work no longer excited her.
After putting a name to these feelings and admitting she was disengaged, she set off on a new path as an advocate for treating this affliction.
If Ruth’s story strikes a chord with you, join her on a journey toward reengaging your life and career. You won’t have to pack for this trip. In fact, you’ll end up discarding baggage that might be holding you back from coming alive.
