If you want change than you must vote for change, keeping the same person at The Board of Commissioners will not make your life easier... You need someone on your side that is going to give your children fighting chance in life... Understanding what the Board of Commissioners does will help you and your family.
The commission acts as the executive of the local government, levies local taxes, administers county governmental services such as prisons, courts, public health oversight, property registration, building code enforcement, and public works such as road maintenance. The system has been supplanted in large part as disparate sparsely settled regions become urbanized and establish tighter local governmental control, but in many more rural states the county commission is the form of government which oversees county management.
So, far today has the Board of Commissioners acted on your behalf. Do you want to change the jails or prisons policy? If, you want more education it started here with Conservative Black Woman name Brenda. She has a Son and grandson who she wants a bright future for. The Black male’s future is low priority for most Commissioners not Brenda... Just listen to her story it may seem like yours...
Is the governing board and policy-making body of County government? While many of its powers, duties and responsibilities are prescribed by law, and diffused through the wide-spread use of commissions, boards, committees, and independently elected county officers, the Board is in charge of developing and approving County policy setting the county budget. Jon Care, Board Coordinator, provides general administrative and liaison support for the Board of Commissioners, coordinates Board Committee Meetings, and maintains committee files.

We want to thank you for listening to our show. We have had a few people saying that they would like us to go back to having more shows that allow people to share what is on their mind. With most of our responses to the show being from people who listen to the archives of the show. We have less people taking part then we used to. But this is, "Your Place" and we are going to give it a try. You may have a song that you would like to sing, a testimony, a scripture, share your thoughts on issues that are in the news, and even share your thoughts on something that you think people are overlooking. You are open to share anything and everything. There is only a couple of rules. You can disagree with comments someone else has made but you do not have to be rude in the process, On some topics people may have to agree to disagree while we all get to hear both sides of the issue. We also do not allow any cursing on our show. This is a family show and we do have some children that listen to this show. If you find your microphone cut off in the middle of your thought you have violated one of these two rules. To be on the show all you have to do is push the number 1 on your phone. This shows us you have something to share on our board. We will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number before we put you on the air. If you have shared your thoughts we ask that you push the number 1 on your phone again. Then if you have another comment all you have to do is push 1 again and we will know that you have something more to share.

Hear perspectives about the new Advanced Placement US History and why does it matter in this year's election and the future of America. Elections have consequences. Historical accounts matter. Who controls the thoughts of America's children will wield great power in the world. Common Core's well known author David Coleman is the new President of the College Board. His latest plan is to re-write history. Many do not understand the importance of this--many in history understood and huge price were paid when that knowledge is used for the wrong reasons. Come learn with us and fight for your child's mind, your child's soul and your country. It starts with knowledge...
Angry? Frustrated? Ready to explode?
Good. So are we.
Everything about the Boston College loss to Colorado State stinks. The Eagles blew a fourth quarter lead, failed to put up points in the final frame, and collapsed worse than a video board at UMass. These are the facts. They are indisputable.
So let it out. Dan and AJ are back on the air to discuss the multiple fronts on which everything went wrong. Send in your calls to talk about what happened, where the game went wrong, and how BC can fix it moving forward. Want to talk about the lethargic Eagle fans? We'll do it. Want to talk about the lack of an effective kicker? We'll do it. Want to talk about the defense's inability to make the stop when it mattered? We'll do it.
Give us a call. 646-200-0446. We're mad. You're mad. Let's be mad together.

Sadly, many people tumble into a marriage without the slightest idea what they are getting into! What passes for pre-marital preparation is some intense sex, and/or slip shod counseling which, in reality, is nothing more than planning for the wedding. As a practical response to this, Dr. Williams wrote his runaway best seller, Some Thoughts for the Journey to Cana: Christian Matrimony—Choice or Chance? Developed, and written, in the mid-1990s, this text has become a standard for pre-marital counseling across the United States. Using the philosophy That A Wedding Takes 20 Minutes But A Marriage Is Meant To Last A Life Time—he takes you, our listeners, through the grueling 6-8 MONTH LONG PRE-MARITAL BOOT CAMP couples MUST commit to in order to pre-qualify them for him to preside over their wedding! His philosophy, he put it is, If we cannot get into a public building or board an air craft without being thoroughly checked out, how can we unite in marriage with a stranger, and expect it to succeed? So as to be more responsible, Dr.Williams was led to devise a gruleing 6-8 month PRE-MARITAL BOOT CAMP! As a result he routinely turns down requests to marry couples that refuse to submit to his highly intense, yet effective form of Bible-Based counseling! Listen carefully as this great Man of God delves into the richness of the marital union via the Word of God for Every Day Life: St8 and Uncut!
