Bob Eike grew up in Texas and is a self-taught guitar player. Throughout his youth, he had a passion for the Blues and Americana music. His musical talents gained him recognition by ‘Guitar Player’ magazine, featuring him as “an undiscovered great.” After moving to Chicago, he discontinued recording and performing live...until now. Bob just released "happy little songs about futility and despair," and he will join me to talk about his journey and the new album.
Carolyn Fe was born in Quezon City, Philippines. She has been a professional contemporary dancer, an actor and, of course, a singer. Her band is called Carolyn Fe Blues Collective and they have been recognized with nominations for their work over the years and were the winners of the 2012 Quebec's Lys Blues Best Blues & Associated Styles Album for Original Sin. Their latest album is entitled Taboo. Carolyn will join me to talk about her incredible career and the new music.

Randy Scott's first attempt at the music business went so poorly, he put down the guitar, cut his hair and turned off all music for over 10 years.
Then a chance visit to a Guitar Center one afternoon became the starting point of a journey that named him the 4th Annual Guitar Center King Of The Blues.
His debut album is called Out Of The Blue and was produced by mutli-Grammy Award winning producer Pete Anderson.
Mike Zito has been playing guitar since the age of 5 and had his debut on Eclecto Groove Records.
Since then he has earned a 2010 Blues Music Award for Song Of The Year (Pearl River with Cyril Neville) and was nominated in 2011 for Best Rock Blues Album (Greyhound).
he is one of the founders of Royal Southern Brotherhood and has just released his lated Gone To Texas.
I will sit with Mike and explore this fasinating career.
Finally, 'Couch Kid' JP Blues returns to us with new music, his album, Make Room At The Table.
Janiva Magness has earned 6 Blues Music Awards including the BB King Entertainment OF The Year, Song Of The Year and Contemporary Female Artist Of The Year.
She is about to release Original, an 11 song collection of incredible tunes that will gain her even more praise and awards.
I am thrilled to have Janiva join me to talk about her incredible career and what challenges she wants to take on in the future.
Raoul & The Big Time have released 4 albums and their fifth is entitled, Hollywood Blvd. Out of Toronto, Canada this band brings an energetic mis of "Toronto-Chicgo-Hollywood Blues" mixing the sounds of Chess Records and West Coast Jump.
Hollywood Blvd has a stellar list of guests with 8 originals and 4 covers done only as Raoul & The Big Time can do. I will chat with Raoul about how he got to this point in his career and what the next step is for he and the band.
Carmen Grillo spent many years with the legendary Tower Of Power and is currently perfoming with Sons Of Champlin. But Different World is all carmen. his first solo album, A Different World, released near the end of 2013 is chock full of blues rock with touches of jazz thrown in and Carmen has enlisted many of those he has played alongside over the years to bolster his songs.
12 tracks, 4 of them instrumental, the labum mixes originals and covers seemlessly.
Carmen and I will discuss his great career and how, finally releasing a solo album has impacted his outlook on the future.
Couch Kid, Joel DaSilva jumps in at the top of the show to talk about his upcoming tour.

Shawn comes by and we will talk about what it was like to be the son of Magic and how he strives to continue the family legacy while creating a career of his own.
Then, COUCH KID Dave Fields come by with his NEW MUSIC, All In, which drops the next day. The album is spectacular and will provide Dave with even more attention fromthe Blues World.
At the top of the show, COUCH KID Elam McKnight comes by with some special news about an upcoming event from the West Tennessee Blues Society.

I first met Sadie Johnson three years ago at the International Blues Challenge. She and her older sister Sam were there as part of the Youth Showcase with their band The Sad Sam Blues Jam.
Since that time, Sadie had grown tremendously as a guitar player, even being inducted into the "Brotherhood Of The Guitar" in the last year.
I will chat with Sadie about her new band, The Sadie Johnson Band, and what her life has been like since she joined TBOTG. We will also hear some of her music during the interview.
