I get to sit with Jay Sieleman, outgoing President/CEO of The Blues Foundation. The Foundation has had some growing pains during Jay's time in ofice, but he also accomplished the building of the physical Blues hall Of Fame in memphis, TN. A total success for the Foundation and those Blues Artists who have been enshrined since 1980. We will speak with Jay about his time in office and what he sees as his future.
Jay Stollman will join me. Jay's vocals are a dynamic fusion of Blue Eyed Soul and Rock and Roll. Along with great performance ability and stage presence, a Jay Stollman show is always guaranteed to rock the house. Jay Stollman is currently appearing with The Johnny Winter Band as the front man and lead vocalist for the Johnny Winter Remembrance Shows, honoring the legendary bluesman, as well as performing with The Jay Stollman Blues Band. Jay and I will track his journey and talk about the newest album, Room For One More.

Couch Kids Andy T and Nick Nixon return for another visit to The Couch, this time to talk about their album, Numbers Man, which releases the day after their visit. It is always a great time catching up with these two fantastic musicians and we will talk about what they have been up to since they last appeared on June 16, 2014.
Finally, Couch Kid Zac Harmon takes his Seat On The Couch for the third time. He originally sat with me back on November 5, 2012 after his Music Is Medicine album released. Then he returned this past January for one of the IBC Preview Shows to give some advice to the Challengers. Sadie was signed to the Girls With Guitars Tour in Europe by Ruff Records and just released the newest GWG album with Eliana Cargnelutti and Heather Crosse.
Singer/Songwriter Kwame Binea joins the show tonight to share his new EP "Shakedown." We couldn't wait for a Friday Night Dance Party to get Kwame on the program - his music is too important to not share tonight!
"Kwame Binea Shakedown" features four tracks including the group's first single "Let Go" (released in early April), their most recent single, "Hang On" (released in mid-June) and "Little Lady" and "Waiting," which have never been released. Musically, the EP showcases Binea's "roots rock" lineage, which is a fusion of rhythmic rock n' roll, ample dosages of infectious funk, silky soul, screaming blue s and just a smidgeon of reggae and funk.
