Should men return used underwear like women return used blouses after a night at the club?
I ALWAYS reply, when I get a "do not reply" email. I love pissing people off.
Tourettes is just an excuse to curse in church, while making the kids laugh.
Israel has this thing about destroying hummus...I say leave it alone, especially the garlic flavored.
Black people: Stop trying to "free" some rapper.
White people: Crack is not the new "skinny pill."
Nancy Pelosi has stated that Hammas is a "humanitarian organization." I'll just leave that alone for the moment.
I haven't crused yet...maybe because I'm trying a new vegetarian diet. Pray for my meat-craving soul!
'I'm not like the rest. I like to dress a little different than most.' 'I am not going to be put in a box when it comes to my dress at work. I need to be me.' Have you professed or had a co-worker profess these types of statements about the dress code in the workplace? We all have our own sense of style when it comes to our wardrobes and we all have boundaries according to the policies and culture in place at work. How do you keep a sense of self when it comes to your dress without going over the line? From there she moved into the IT world, spending 27 years designing and building database systems and managing multi-million dollar projects for Fortune 500 companies as well as entrepreneurial startups in the financial, communications and advertising industries.
She is a clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient intuitive with a lifetime of experience helping others align directly with Source. Today we will be discussing... 1)What old'outdated perceptions stop us from soaring in the 'world' of business?
2) will I have to change my whole 'wardrobe'? (self-perceptions and perceptions of situations)
Probably! (think blouses with wing openings!) It is all about the energy.
What if you COULD 'wear what you wanted' to work, energetically?
3) How can I honor my wings each day?

On Sunday Jim & I were very excited to welcome as our guests, movie critic BETTY JO TUCKER of MOVIE ADDICT HEADQUARTERS and NANCY LOMBARDO of COMEDY CONCEPTS *** WORKERS AND LABOR UNIONS IN THE MOVIES. * * Sometimes Hollywood loves the working class but lately . . . not so much. * * What was the last pro-union film you’ve seen at the movies? “Norma Rae”? My favorite is more recent; “Life or Something like It” is pro-union and under-appreciated. In the movie the protagonist is a lady who changes from a prissy perfectionist fast-tracker due to a stranger’s premonition and to an epiphany. Perhaps an epiphany she had when a bit tipsy and leading the workers of a strike on a loud song fest of “We Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” * * * A few of the movies we talk about include Modern Times*On the Waterfront*Silkwood*FIST*Employee of the Month,*Office Space* And . . . remember when Lucille Ball was on the candy factory manufacturing line, woops, the line speeds up and they stuff their mouths, hats and blouses(!!) with chocolate to keep up? *** Scroll down the page to see video clips from some of the movies we discussed. *** The movie “Salt of the Earth” can be viewed online at Internet Archives. *** Music Addict Headquarters with Betty Jo Tucker * * * Comedy Concepts with Nancy Lombardo * * ** Betty Jo's Blog ** Nancy Lombardo’s Website “Comedy Concepts” ******* ****** Another movie not to miss from 2010 > "MADE IN DAGENHAM" < Comedy Concepts host Nancy Lombardo has interviewed director, Nigel Cole, about his new feature which stars Sally Hawkins. *http://www.Blogtalkradio.com/comedy-concepts/2010/11/02/nigel-cole-director-made-in-dagenham*
Saquathih is a mother, artist, fashion designer, and writer. As a child she traveled the Caribbean and was introduced to the art of sewing at a very young age. She was taught how to sew at 11 years old by her godmother/cousin, who has sewn all of her life.
Always looking for new ways to be creative, Saquathih was inspired to sew professionally a little over 3 years ago and from that inspiration birthed Azmera ~ Harvest Girl... a clothing line featuring fabrics from indigenous cultures worldwide such as dashiki African fabric and east Indian fabric in the form of dresses, blouses, skirts, pants, handbags and accessories made to accentuate the creativity within us all.
Azmera harvest fashion has graced the cover of “Nu Woman Magazine” and was featured in the Fashion magazine “Face of The Caribbean” in Jamaica. Other forms of creativity that Saquathih is magnetized to are book binding, martial arts and music production.
Azmera Harvest clothing can be found at http://www.etsy.com/shop/Azmera and her blog beautifulwayz.blogspot.com she is also a member of Native Style Trade Barter so get your trade on with Saquathih today!
There you are sitting in class waiting for the professor to come in when you look up and see young people half your age entering the class dressed in torn sagging jeans, untied timberland boots, and female blouses cut so low you wonder why they even put on a shirt. And then you ask yourself, “What the french toast am I doing here?” To add insult to injury, a very sweet innocent looking young female student puts her hand on your shoulder and says, “You’ll be ok honey, my grandmother is thinking about going back to school too and she’s about your age.” Just as your brain fired the muscle impulse to jump up and slap the taste out of her mouth the professor walks in and you’re jolted back to reality. All the while thinking “I’ll get that little heffa later”. That may be exaggerating a bit, but the reality is that more and more older Americans are going back to school. Is it the economy, career change, their current job requires that they have a degree, or is it just personal satisfaction? Then there are some who are pondering the idea of going to school but not quite sure if they should because of their age. What do you think? Let’s talk about it! Submit your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org or call in during the show with your questions or comments to (347) 826-9214. And as always, my only request is that, like the name of the show says; you keep it real.
Kevin McCullough thinks that the President is getting a really bum wrap on the wanting to speak to the school children of the nation. Just this past week on Fox he heard the tin-foilers say this was the equivalent of cultish brain-washing. Really? So Stephen and Kevin came up with a groovy alternative. Check it out tonight at 9pm EST.
Pastor, Husband, Father-to-be, did he have to die?
A Georgia pastor, gives a woman a ride to a local convenience store. As they go to leave armed men in pull up in a Hummer, jump out and demand the man stop the car and surrender his passenger. Out of instinct he throws the car in reverse injuring one of the armed gunmen. Who then open fire taking the life of the pastor. Only thing was... the gunman were plainclothes police tracking the drug addict the Pastor had given the ride to. Stephen Baldwin wants to know, "how do you know when to obey?"
An AP Photographer took a picture of Lance Cpl. Joshua "Bernie" Bernard, immediately after his leg had been blown off in a grenade attack in Afghanistan. The AP ran the photo in dozens of papers despite requests of Defense Secretary Gates, and the marine's OWN family. The AP justified their actions saying they were merely trying to show respect. They also said that pictures like these honored the sacrifice more than the statistics from the Pentagon.
A man, who has since birth BEEN a man, and to this moment still has his manhood has just been given permission to serve his prison term in an all female facility. He is not allowed to wear skirts, blouses, or women's apparel in the men's prison. Also he has been tried and convicted for rape... of... women... Heh... they're all inmates and convicts who cares?
Maybe we're missing something, you tell us if we are tonight. 800.345.9622.
