The Western Conference Playoffs are shaping up to be a 2 to 3 team race. With the injury situation in Golden State in Los Angeles, the Thunder and Spurs will have to jump at the chance to make that leap. We know the Spurs are ready, but are the Thunder? Can the Warriors repeat if Steph Curry is hobbling with a lingering knee or ankle injury? The Clippers will be without Chris Paul and Blake Griffin for the rest of the playoffs so that all but eliminates them. In the East, it's the Cavs to lose.
The NFL Draft is upon us and there are PLENTY of storylines heading into Thursday's first round. Is Jared Goff a lock for the Los Angeles Rams? Or does Carson Wentz have a shot to be the guy? Will Ezekiel Elliot be taken in the first round? And how many other quarterbacks will be taken after Goff and Wentz in the first round?
The Los Angeles Clippers have been overshadowed all year, especially when superstart Blake Griffin went down with an injury. Griffin returned at the end of the season, and had enough games to get into game shape. With his return, the Clippers had a legitimate chance to play with the likes of the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, and Oklahoma City Thunder because they had an outside shooting game, and a presence in the front court. That was before Chris Paul broke a bone in his hand. With Paul out, who will step up and replace the 28 points, 8 assists, and nearly 50% shooting per game? The question now becomes, can they even get by the Portland Trailblazers in the first round? The series is tied at two games each, and the Clippers season may have been broken just like Pauls' right hand. Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.
