Not exactly or not just another "Obamacare Saturday", but today I will be talking about the most recent issues and questions with Obamacare. But also I'll be looking at some big government programs and big government failures in this country and in other countries. Just last year there were 3 or 4 big government solutions that fell apart in other countries. And of course, we have The Great Society and other Big Goverment moves as failures in the past in this country. I'll be talking about those and also commenting on the Mozilla stuff at 4:30 Eastern time today.
This show is a rerun of a Politics Done Right I did at Pacifica Radio KPFT FM 90.1. I am currently interviewing a Houston activist today and am unable to do the show live.

Corporations want big government / Americans want government that works
It was just a matter of time. One has to wonder what took so long. There was a time when Republicans would clobber Democrats on social issues, fiscal issues, religious issues. They’ve done it even though America has never really been a centrist Right country.
The plutocracy for many years engineered that center Right myth. They did it by fusing a several groups that were not natural allies. They created the Liberal that was anathema to God, guns, and gay hate. And with that they controlled us all using big government – not big government for Americans but big government for themselves.

For today's show I'm going to focus on big government and bad government at in some sense all levels. Certainly there's much to talk about with our national goverment and that will be discussed. I'll be talking about a purposeful lack of transparency if not almost censorship by all levels of government and Google. I'll also discuss a very bad, severely overeaching and unnecessary bill in my home state of Ohio that apparently has been tabled and done away with for now and some of the latest accusations and revelations from Edward Snowden. That's on today's show at 4:30 Eastern time.
Shane Krauser, the host of Liberty Storm, talks about why America is experiencing the problems that she is and then offers real solutions. Shane takes on the following issues:
1. What are some of the tactics of big government tactics? Why do they use them and how should we respond?
2. James Roy, a former candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives, joins us to discuss his outlook after the election.
3. Big announcement made on the show involving syndication. Tune in!
4. The Los Angeles City Coiuncil is proposing a requirement that would mandate the use of trigger locks and lock boxes. What does the Second Amendment say and does this proposal reflect common sense?

M’Hogany is a singer, songwriter, arranger, and former US Soldier. As a child, she was teased for her dark skin complexion. Her mother soothed her by telling her she was not black, she was mahogany—thus the namesake was born. Between the ages of 8 and 12, she began reciting original poems, but never wrote anything down. She was approached to have her poetry published, but her mother declined the offer. Two weeks prior to her grandmother’s death, M’Hogany had a vision to dedicate her completed novel to her. In the wake of her passing, she decided to incorporate her grandmother’s legacy into her writing. Her grandmother was not only the first lady of her church, but she was the head musician. “I had to continue on this journey my granny knew I started. I was named after her because I looked like her, so I feel I have to let her legacy live through me,” M'Hogany said. M’Hogany has also contributed to the Literary Lounge magazine created by Tracie Holmes. “I write the stories that life sings,” M'Hogany said.

John Maxwell has been a teacher of Leaders for many years. In this show he shares how MOMENTIUM can be your BEST FRIEND!
In a blog he writes:
Momentum is the greatest of all change-agents. When a leader has it, organizational change comes easily, for it’s much simpler to steer a company that’s already experiencing success than to jumpstart one that’s stagnant.
On a team that’s thriving, growing, and delivering results an aura of excitement permeates everything. The momentum is almost tangible. Yet even though we can feel the momentum, it’s hard to define. Let’s take a momentum to pin down where it comes from.
The attitude of the leader + the atmosphere of the organization + the accomplishments of the people = MOMENTUM
Leaders who court momentum display a set of attitudes that help them reach new altitudes. First, they take responsibility for outcomes. They don’t blame failures on their people or on forces beyond their control. Second, leaders who generate momentum operate with an empowering sense of hope. They shape their surroundings instead of merely being shaped by them. They believe in the possibility of change instead of complaining about challenges to it. Finally, leaders who drive momentum have unfailing enthusiasm. They’re convinced of the importance of their work, and this sense of purpose propels them forward.
Leaders build a culture favorable to momentum in the following ways. First, they believe the best about their people—concentrating on developing their strengths rather than on fixing their shortcomings. Second, they provide an inspiring vision that’s contagious. They share it confidently and talk about it continually, until everyone on the team sees it almost as clearly as they do. Third, they remove the fear of failure. They invite risk and affirm innovative ideas—even if they don’t always work.
