Join Kelly as she interviews filmmaker, author, producer and more Betsy Chasse! Betsy has created Spiritual with some wonderful friends to usher in a new age, one where we can laugh while we listen, expand our minds and push the envelope on what it means to be a human being having a spiritual experience. It's time to get out of heady intellectual debates, it's time to stop floating around blinded by the light and afraid of the dark and get real, get funny and get evolving. The channel will have short films, interviews and specials with some of todays funniest, irreverent and inspiring people!
Wife, mother, and award-winning producer of the sleeper hit What the Bleep Do We Know!? Betsy Chasse thought she had it all figured out...until she realized she didn’t. She didn’t know anything about happiness, love, spirituality, or herself...nothing, nada, zilch.
In a book that’s anything but quiet, Chasse takes readers on a playful romp through the muddy fields of life and spirituality. Witty, yet unflinching, Chasse exposes her own experience tipping sacred cows and dissects the fragile beliefs we all hold so dear. Because the truth is, we each have a choice to believe the stories we tell ourselves or create new ones.
A candid, no-nonsense confession, Chasse’s story gives readers the freedom to break free from their old patterns and gleefully frolic through fields, cow tipping at will and in the process, create a new reality for themselves.
Author, Filmmaker and Speaker, Betsy Chasse will join us to discuss her new book Tipping Sacred Cows. "In her new book Betsy Chasse takes readers on a playful romp through the muddy fields of spirituality, urging them to tip over their own sacred cows of belief and realize that they do have a choice: a choice to believe the stories we tell ourselves or to create new ones."

Project Empowerment is thrilled to have on returning guest, Betsy Chasse!
Betsy is a filmmaker, author, blogger and radio host and co-author, co-producer and co-director to What the Bleep Do We Know as well as co-author to her companion book What The Bleep Do We Know - Discovering the Endless Possibliities for Altering Your Everyday Reality.
We'll be discussing her newest projects that are in production right now including her latest book Tipping Sacred Cows.
ENVISION THIS: It’s time to question your belief systems, to know that you don’t need to have all the answers, and that one size does NOT fit all!
Our guest, Betsy Chasse, says, “As I stand here knee deep in manure, finding my way to reclaiming myself, I’m going to share my version of finding your own capacity to live your life to your highest potential, even while cleaning up cat vomit, carpooling, and waiting in line at the post office.” She identifies herself first and foremost as a mom, “with two wonderful kids, Elora and Max. They are the light of my life and my world revolves around them! We love to garden, paint, create and cause as much of a rumpus as we can together.”
She is probably more familiar to many of our listeners as co-creator of the film, credited with co-writing, co-directing and producing. What The Bleep Do We Know?!
Her new book, Tipping Sacred Cows, and our interview with her have to do with all she has learned and unlearned since that achievement: “It’s time to tip some sacred cows about what we think we know about spirituality, reality, and ourselves. It’s time to get liberated from the fences we’ve put up and frolic once again through the pasture of life, realizing that stepping in cow shit is not always such a bad thing. That happiness is not a destination but a state of mind and you’re already there if you’re willing to just do a little work to uncover your true bliss, your happy mojo, that creamy cream that exists in the middle of you!” Betsy has some wonderful insights on finding your own spiritual path in today's hectic world.

In typical ‘Betsy Chasse’ style, Betsy tells it like it is in her new book, Tipping Sacred Cows. I love this book because it challenges all the ‘spiritual teachings’ that we have heard about happiness, love, and spirituality. Of course, the irony of this book is that these challenges/questions are coming from the ‘mother’ of spirituality. Most of us know Betsy best as being one of the producers of the award-winning film, What the Bleep Do We Know?! If you are unfamiliar with this film, it is probably one of the quintessential pieces of work that explores the connection between quantum physics and consciousness.
On our show, we're going to talk about Betsy's latest journey through divorce and the spiritual questions that it sparked. Speaking of being a mom, Betsy is the mom to two children, Elora and Max. We're going to question and, maybe, answer some of life's greatest questions. What a tremendous honor to welcome Betsy Chasse.
