O YE DRYBONES : The Destruction Of Region 5/ THE REV PINKNEY STORY

    in Current Events

Today is the 414th day that Rev. Edward Pinkney of Benton Harbor, Michigan sits in prison doing felony time (2 1/2 to 10 years) for a misdemeanor crime he did not commit. When they first tried to arrest Rev. Pinkney they surrounded the block where he lives, blocked off his street to traffic and sent in a SWAT team. Why did they need that kind of force? Did they intend to silence him by adding his name to the growing list of those murdered by police terror? Luckily they just missed him. He had taken his wife out for her birthday.

The fact is no one charged with something as small as petition fraud, a misdemeanor, gets that kind of response. This shows the lengths to which corporate dictatorship in Michigan will go to crush anyone who opposes them. Rev. Pinckney was the first one to warn the American people about the dangers of the emergency Financial Manager system. The validity of those warnings have come true in the poisoning of Flint, Michigan. With the eyes of the world now upon Flint and the heartfelt outpouring of aid being sent there, let us not overlook or forget the plight of rev. Pinkney. FREE REV. PINKNEY NOW.

Are You Holding On To A Toxic Friendship?

    in Women

"Birds of a feather flock together" as the saying goes. The people you draw to you are people who reflect some aspect of yourself. Ideally, they reflect your best self, but sometimes they don't. Do you find yourself holding on to a friend with whom you are always arguing, or saying unkind things about them behind their backs  - and you suspect they do the same to you? A real friend is someone who is concerned about your well being, and takes care not to hurt your feelings. Some of your acquaintences may deeply resent you. They may harbor jealousy or envy. They secretly hope you fail, they are glad when you appear to be suffering. These are not your friends, but you may be holding on to them our of habit. Are you in toxic friendship? Is it time to change the people in your life?

Mama Mia NO Sharia with Vito Esposito and AL

    in Politics Conservative

We'll be discussing Obama's visit to a Baltimore mosque last week and it's ties to Extremism, which didn't seem to bother Barack Hussein Soeotoro Obama. During his visit, Hussein Obama made some factually challenged statements.  It seems Pres Soundbite has very little concern for facts, as long as it makes for a good soundbite.

We'll discuss the 72 US House of Rep Virgins who signed onto HR 569.  The 72 Congressional Virgins submitted to Islam.  Congress shall make no law respecting an "Establishment of Religion" - unless of course you are pandering to Islam, then throw the US Constitution aside!  Whether it's submitting to Christianity or Islam or Judaism, Congress shall not "Establish".  Why is that difficult for Democratic Congressmen to understand?  Have they lost all common sense or do they harbor that much disdain for our Republic and Constitution?

We will certainly discuss this and other events impacting our Freedoms and our Freedom of Speech!  Join us this evening at 6pm EST, where we may or may not be broadcasting live from chilly Little Falls, NY!

Oh, That One Particular Healing Harbor

    in Psychology

In-Flight Entertainment presents Marauder Radio: Tales of the Hole in the Soul Crew starring Bob Zima, MA/LCPC, a self described Frequent Flyer to Hell and Back. Bob has experienced many trips to the Gates of Hell and lived to tell the tale. Plus he has learned a thing or two along the way.

Marauder Radio is a cathartic & satirical podcast on which Bob shares with you his quirky and wacky insights and life lessons learned from his adventurous and E-True Hollywood-esque trips to Hell and back. Bob also leverages is master of arts in counseling psychology education (which by the way was at an Evangelical seminary) and his professional experiences as a license clinical counselor to offer additional fire power to his message.

Perhaps you may be inspired by this irreverent, blazon and passionate cathartic satirist who tells it like it is.

Perhaps not. You will have to listen to find out.

This show is for mature audiences with open minds and souls. Healing is NOT for wimps or the weak-hearted. It is work. Hard work!

On today’s show, Bob discusses how our quest for the treasure of healing and mental wellness requires that we find rest and solitude in a particular healing harbor.

Maya Claridge discusses Bullied to Bold national movement

    in Lifestyle

Bullied for two years in middle school, Maya Claridge says it was the darkest and loneliest time of her life."I don't want people to feel alone, like I did."Which is why Claridge, now a freshman in high school, has joined with her management team and publicist to embark on the Bullied to Bold outreach tour, speaking in middle school and high school classrooms and assemblies throughout Colorado.

In sharing her personal experience with bullying, from name-calling to rumor spreading to exclusion and cyber-bullying, Claridge hopes to empower kids to rise above hurtful words, to find the strength to battle against self-hatred, to overcome fear, loneliness and humiliation, to know that they are not alone and to learn to love themselves."I like who I am now and I want others to like who they are, too."

Claridge's positive message of hope encourages kids to both ask for help and to offer help, all the while inspiring them toward strength and perseverance.  "When you stop giving other people the power to hurt you, you grow stronger and they grow weaker."It isn't that Claridge's experience with bullying is necessarily worse than others that makes her message so powerful, but rather that it is similar to what thousands of kids are experiencing on a daily basis in our schools and on-line.

They are able to relate to her and connect with her, thus she can reach them on their level and help them realize that there is hope.

    1. What prompted you to write the song?

    2. Let's talk about the root of bullying? From the You Tube, we found people who..

envy others, secretly harbor ill will, exclude others, gossip, and seek to harm.

How do we apply the two word sermon...STOP IT!! ?

    3. What's your final advice today to move from "bullied to bold"?
