Strength of Love Stageplay Premiere Source: Baz Brothers Production Dated: Feb. 15, 2015 ATLANTA -- A new stageplay is set to hit the scene in South Metro Atlanta this April entitled “The Strength of Love.” This stageplay, a Baz Brothers Production, will be held in two shows on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2pm and 7pm at the Griffin Auditorium, in Griffin, GA. “The Strength of Love” is a heartfelt story of Antonio and Melody, a loving couple who have been married 5 years. Although the first 5 years were blissful, Antonio and Melody are now settling into a new stage of marriage, and each has their own struggle. Melody is starting to question her husband’s love for her, while Antonio deals with a new reality, as he learns that his wife cannot provide his lifelong desire. So they are now faced with the dilemma of “should I stay or should I go?” Find out if the “Strength of Love” will conquer all…

Dwayne Cottle- Discovered by acting coach Kathy Tara, After completing acting school, Dwayne would jumpstart his acting career. His films would include: Drumline; Fighting Temptations & Many more.
LaDarian Raymond- Has had roles in movies such as, “The Last Punch”and “Love N Success” featuring R&B sensation Angie Stone. He’s also shared the stage with legendary singers, such as Melba Moore and Ann Nesby.

David Hirschfelder was raised in the country township of Ballarat.After graduating from Ballarat Grammar he continued his music education at The University of Melbourne. From the mid-80s to early-90s, Hirschfelder became the musical brain behind many of Australia’s landmark concert events and recordings. David’s first film-score for Baz Luhrmann’s “Strictly Ballroom” won a BAFTA. In 1996 David received an Oscar nomination, an AFI and an APRA award for his “Shine” score; and in 1998 a further Oscar nomination, as well as BAFTA and APRA awards for “Elizabeth”. Hirschfelder is now recognised globally as one of Australia’s most distinguished screen composers. Other works include “Eternity” for orchestra, choir and 1000 tap-dancers (commissioned for the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games), “Mixed Doubles” for string quartet (commissioned by Leigh Warren’s Dance Theatre for the 2004 Adelaide Arts Festival), David’s recent film-scores include Baz Luhrmann’s “Australia” (2008), Zack Snyder’s “Legend Of The Guardians” (2010), and James Cameron’s “Sanctum” (2011). 2014 will see the release of Craig Monahan’s "Healing" featuring Hugo Weaving, along with Jonathan Teplitzky’s "The Railway Man" starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman, which received it’s world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. In 1991 Craig co-wrote with Baz Luhrmann the screenplay for the enormously successful feature film Strictly Ballroom, which won eight AFI awards, including Best Screenplay, was nominated for five BAFTAS, including Best Screenplay, won the Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Film Festival and the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for Best Screenplay. In 1994 Pearce and Luhrmann adapated William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet for the screen. The film, starring Leonard DiCaprio, broke box office records worldwide. Among its many nominations and awards, the film won the Alfred Bauer Award, the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and four BAFTAs (including Best Screenplay).Craig began working with Baz Luhrmann on the screenplay of Moulin Rouge in 1997. The film, which starred Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, was in competition at – and opened – the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. The screenplay was nominated for a Golden Satellite and a BAFTA, and the film’s many accolades include winning two National Board Of Review awards (including best film), nine Golden Satellite awards, three Golden Globes, including best film musical or comedy, a Grammy Award, the Los Angeles Film Festival movie of the year, five Australian AFI awards, two US AFI awards and numerous other awards around the world. It was also nominated for eleven BAFTAs, including Best Screenplay, nominated for the WGA Award for Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen and nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. 2005 Craig wrote The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud for Universal Studios.Craig and Baz Luhrmann re-teamed to write The Great Gatsby.
