Check Out My Interview With Toy Brandon on Aug 4th @6pm CST

    in Blogs

A musical painter with his words, Toy Brandon grew up in the city of Baton Rouge, LA. Influenced from an early age by his city, family, and various genres of music, Toy began experimenting with the art form known as “beat boxing” at the age of 11 with his older cousins. As he progressed in his musical creativity, Toy Brandon became engulfed in the local Louisiana southern-style Hip Hop scene.  Heavily inspired by local Hip Hop celebrity Z-ro Mo City Don, Toy’s music reflects a harmonic relationship between him and life in Baton Rouge.  At 13, Toy released his first single entitled “I Feel Played” off his debut mixtape The Switch Up- a song that narrates the heartbreak of teenage love. Since the release of his single and mixtape, Toy Brandon has received local stardom and a steadily building fanbase.

Currently, Toy is working on releasing his next mixtape called Most Hated later this year. You can find his latest news, music, and updates on Facebook: Toy Brandon.

    The Louisiana Gubernatorial Runoff

    in Politics

From the primary election to the runoff, early voting has increased 47 percent among black voters and 30 percent among white voters. Early voting has also jumped in a number of the larger urban areas -- Caddo/Shreveport (109 percent increase), Orleans (98 percent increase) and East Baton Rouge (88 percent) -- according to Couvillon. That would appear to be good news for state Rep. John Bel Edwards, the Democratic candidate for governor, rather than U.S. Sen. David Vitter, the Republican. Edwards has also been ahead in recent runoff polls. But experts and political operatives warned against drawing too many conclusions from preliminary early voting turnout. The runoff election is a different story. It's expected to be a close election, and Democrats have efforts underway to get people to participate in early voting. The Democratic Party says it has people in every parish working on early voting efforts. After the primary election, the Edwards campaign even said it expected voter turnout to be higher overall in the runoff.NOLA.com

Charlie Cook says;"this is a make or brake election for the Democratic party in Louisiana'".

Want an A+ in COUNTRY, a better President: Write-In Curtis Clinton c2it

    in Elections

it’s lonely here on this sife of the broadcast at BLOG TALK RADIO. I have no staff, no support ( and that should tell you something ), no money – just determination, excellence, hope, service and vision. you will never see or hear me quit, I may say that I don’t have a chance at the Presidency. That doesn’t mean that I am quitting. you may notice my lack of capitalization. It’s casual & more personal this way. What I have to speak to you today is not nominal. I will be carrying this flag and patriotism for us forever, even if I don’t get into the White House. But then, I won’t be able to deliver the time of your life and the way to live better. my family is not involved in this like the families of the Political Candidates. The Candidates’ families are decked out, handsome & gorgeous. Not mine, we are plain fair looking and we accept it that way. But I got what no other Presidential Candidate got. I have talent designed for the WHITE HOUSE. OBTW, did you see my spelling – wow, I missed some letters   -   my eye vision, and not that other vision, needs bigger glasses ( My Cousin Vunny ).   I did that on purpose. OBTW AGAIN, I may paint part of the WHITE HOUSE some seasonal colors to keep a lively and clean, green, sheen of a WHITE HOUSE. I may also have casual MTWThF. It’s fitting that we have a President from the people, looking like the people. you have seen rich/well dressed. Now you can witness clean down to earth, without make-up, rouge & concealer. I don’t conceal. Do you want that, for a change, in a President. I am here for you when you decide that it should be me for the WHITE HOUSE. Hopefully you decide soon before you waste more money and time. I am Curt Clinton, Curtis Clinton. the best of a Clinton.  120,000,000 Write-In Presidential Ballots can do it,    bwell
