My guest will be Liza Horan. Liza is a digital strategy executive whose media career switched from print editorial to the online space in 1995, when she launched TENNIS.com for The New York Times Co. After leading the creative and business sides for 10 years, she founded Media Moxie to provide digital strategy and communications for a variety of clients in consumer and B2B sectors across several industries. Employers and clients include ESPN, software companies, retailers, and entertainment brands. Her specialty is aligning content strategy and digital product development with business goals. The ultimate win, she says, is building audience size, quality and engagement (quality interactions). Liza earned her master's degree in strategic communications from Columbia University and her bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary's University. She can be reached at Liza@MediaMoxie.com.
Jason never disappoints, great convo coming about engagement and being a Best Place to Work.
Everyone meet Jason, Jason meet everyone.
Jason: Even when I was in grade school, I recognized when processes were broken. But, rather than complain about them, my instinct was to find or create a better way. I solved the problem. I facilitated progress. I never outgrew this.
As my career unfolded, it became clear to me that the experience of “work” wasn’t a good one for far too many people. And so it has become my calling to make work better. I believe that work can and should be an awesome experience (It happens, I’ve seen it.). I believe that people want to do great work. I also believe that leaders want their people to be successful. The challenge seems to be that we are stuck in outdated mindsets and beliefs about “work” that get in our way. My mission is to fix that.
As a busy executive myself, I am sure that you are pressed for time on a daily basis. Who isn’t? With all the questions, requests, appointments, and projects that you need to complete – I am surprised at times that we can keep it all together.
So what is one thing we always look for? Shortcuts and time-savers!
This couldn’t be more evident when it comes to us administering our social media marketing campaigns. We are always on the lookout for shortcuts, or shortcut tools, that will help us save time with many aspects of executing our campaigns.
But, little do many of you know, these tools can also come back to bite you in the end – without you even knowing.
A prime example of this – Facebook.
Tune in today to find out why scheduling your posts directly ON Facebook could benefit your business and increase engagement!

@wcsteelerfan, aka James E King III presents 'Tha PUGILIST KOrner, our weekly show dedicated to the art of boxing, on both the amatuer and professional levels.
As with every infant, the PUGILIST KOrner began as a seed. After listening to so many 'boxing shows', I wanted to create something totally different Most shows I heard had hosts' and panelists' crowing their expertise and resounding boxing knowledge. What happened to the fighter? My show is about the fighter and this beloved Sport we watch and anticipate with baited breath. We interview all of the fighters with a sense of respect and admiration, they deserve, for entertaining us, with their craft.
When schedules permit, I'll be joined by a guest co-host boxer, past or present, Join us as I interview our various guests, review the bouts of the week, talk about upcoming matches, and answer questions posed by callers/listeners. Watch for our 'Press Release', usually Tuesday morning, announcing our guest co-host and guests for the evening show.
Call in (718) 506-1506 or listen. We look forward to having you in our audience, in the very near future.
For a while, I have noticed a trend that has been alarming to me. Marriage is taking a downfall when weighed against other goals in life. Why is that? I’ve asked several people from the younger generation only to hear about the expense of delivering your heart to someone only to have them in a few years tear it into pieces. The feeling is that living with someone is less expensive emotionally and financially than signing a piece of paper committing a lifetime. Even those like Anthony D'Ambrosio, 29, of Wall who has written several successful relationship columns and tried marriage in 2012, now discusses why marriages just don't work for people of his generation. Today, June 2, 2015 Anthony D'Ambrosio is divorced. He addresses key points from his concept of why his generation can’t handle marriage. I would like to speak to his concerns from a spiritual perspective. Is it true that the current generation is not fit to handle marriage? Tonight, tune in to www.blogtalkradio.com/reflectionswithlynne at 7:30pm as we discuss why people of today’s generation and the gap “or perceived gap” in the idea of marriage. Call in to be a part of the audience. (347) 215-9556
