Favor Life  is a 15 minute radio empowerment segment designed to encourage the Christian Believer in their walk of faith and trust everyday through life situations and circumstance. The goal of this radio broadcast is to spiritually empower each believer in their process of growing and maturing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ daily. For the Christian Believer ,who is in this world but operate and live in a different system of faith , we learn to manifest the glory of the Lord in our everyday life by faith , trust and obedience to God's Word. in Entertainment

This is an All About Town Television Special! In honor of actress Ann B. Davis' birthday which would have been today. We are presenting a special broadcast of TV Talk with RL Demri. This particular show was about Ann B. Davis who portrayed Alice Nelson on the classic American sitcom The Brady Bunch. The Brady Bunch ran for 6 seasons on ABC from 1969-1974. Alice was the quintessential housekeeper of her time. She had to tidy up the house of a then uncommon blended family with a total of 6 children.

Procurement Unplugged: The Three Most Important Questions For 2015

    in Business

Since January, we have been airing a series of what you could call informal, off the cuff interviews with a number of executives and experts from various areas of the procurement world, regarding what I would consider to be the three most important questions in our industry for 2015.

While there are certainly more questions regarding the procurement world than the ones I will be posing to our guest today, these three have been the most prominant for my listeners and readers.

    Here are the three questions:

    1. In his latest book Dr. Robert Handfield talked about the definite and definitive break between older or past generation procurement professionals and the new, emerging generation. In short, he indicates that everything that has been done and learned in the past will not be useful to this next generation of procurement pros?

    2. The emergence of eCommerce and the mobile supply chain - what does it mean in terms of technology, practice and ultimately impact and influence?

    3. Is there a difference between the public and private sector procurement practice in this brave new world?

Joining me today is New Wave 2015 Company CEO Corry Flatt from Bonfire.

    He Wants It All

    in Christianity

You've seen or heard of the poker competitions on national TV, where you can hear a pin drop, as masterminds play this mind game of "call my bluff if you can". Then out of no where one player decides to say those bold words "Im going all in". And yes, there's great risk involved for sure, not knowing what to expect next they could have very well lost it all. With God the stakes are much higher, give our all to him and watch him work or give little and play it safe with little or no impact for the kingdom. Along with that is a hard and changeless heart that only seeks to gratify the flesh and its desires rather than God. We are left wandering what freedom from sin looks like because of our failure to turn over every issue, problem addiction or lust deep in our hearts and minds. What is the one area that God is asking you to turn over to Him? Is there any part of your life your not surrendering? We all at times are tempted to give God just a little or just enough to get by. The abundant life in Christ is there for all who will give their heart, soul, mind and strength to the Lord and be used to do only what He knows your capable of when we die to self and rest in Him.

IT Life Radio: You're Doing Gamification Wrong

    in Technology

Gamification works pretty well if you're making the latest mobile game, but most enterprises are struggling with it. In fact, mention gamification in the enterprise and you're likely to get a lot of groans and people who say, "we tried that. It didn't work." If that's your experience, out latest IT Life Radio guest, Steve Sims CDO of Badgeville's Behavior Lab, will tell you that you've probably been doing it all wrong. On Wednesday, May 6th at 3PM ET, he'll tell us all about how to do it right.

Gamification can be a tool of transformation in your enterprise. It can be used to achieve those pesky goals you're having trouble reaching, change hearts and minds, and to learn new skills. You can use it to measure progress in an organization and even to improve morale.

Do it wrong, and you're adding hassle and effort to an organization pressed for time. And you are likely to turn off your employees. So you better listen to Steve tell you how to do it right.

    We'll talk to Steve about:

Aligning gamification to the needs of your enterprise
Using gamification in education and training
Making employees happier and more engaged

Steve Sims, CDO of Badgeville’s Behavior Lab, has 20 years of experience in game development and production for web, mobile, console and PC systems. He started his gaming career at Electronics Arts and EA Online where he was an Executive Producer and responsible for Madden NFL Football, the #1 selling sports video game franchise in North America, and EA's earliest forays into the online space including Fantasy Sports and Casual Games. He has worked in the gaming industry since with notable roles including Director of Operations at Gemini Mobile Technologies and Vice President of Product Management and Service Operations at Outspark.

I Didn’t Think My Marriage or Relationship Would’ve Been Like This

    in Spirituality

“I didn’t think my marriage or my relationship would be like this or turned out like that,” are common phases that I hear, and, I hear them far too often.  Many people enter into an intimate long term, committed relationship expecting to experience, until death do they part, that first, “OMG! Sukie-Sukie now” high.  You know, that all encompassing zing you felt when you locked eyes  and lips on each other that set your pheromones pumping and hormones jumping.   It’s that unnamable thing that attracted you to him/her in the beginning.  Like all things in creation there are ebbs and flows and your relationship, whether married or committed, is not exempt from life’s natural momentum.  The name of this game is whether you can weather the storms and build the type of long term relationship you are wanting.

Join me, Dr. Wendy Dearborne as we do a little real talk about you, expectations and your committed relationships.
