Join me in welcoming Jim Richardson Jr., an inspirational songwriter with a gift of reaching people's hearts with his words. Jim is a proud member of Dreamcatchers For Abused Children and has written and donated songs to us over the years. Jim's gift of songwriting was handed down from his father, now passed away. Jim's family are all musically inclined and have the gift of music running through them. Jim's songs about abused children send a message to the world that no child should ever be abused. No child should suffer at the hands of those that should be protecting them, caring for them, and Jim's words from his heart ring loud and clear about the worldwide issue of child abuse, poverty, neglect that children face. He allows us to hear the children's words, and to feel the children's pain as he "becomes" their voice thru his songwriting. Jim recently let me in on an amazing bit of news, as he advised that Recording Artist Ria will be recording his song titled "Don't Be Afraid" for Dreamcatchers for Abused Children. This is awesome news!! Please see Jim's MySpace and look for more of Jim's inspiring music in the future. With no plans on sitting back, Jim will continue to use his gifts to help children, and people through his gift of music.

Join us as Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow shares the inspiring story from his book, The Shed That Fed a Million Children. As a young man growing up in rural Scotland, he had no concept about what life held in store for him and his family. One day, while sharing a pint with his brother, he decided he wanted to do something to help the children of war-torn Bosnia. From this first idea a movement was born.
If you care about the children of the world, you won’t want to miss this account of inspiration, love and the power of hope.

Sibling rivalry is a type of competition or animosity among siblings, whether blood related or not. Siblings generally spend more time together during childhood than they do with parents. The sibling bond is often complicated and is influenced by factors such as parental treatment, birth order, personality, and people and experiences outside the family. Sibling rivalry often continues throughout childhood and can be very frustrating and stressful to parents. Adolescents fight for the same reasons younger children fight, but they are better equipped to physically, intellectually, and emotionally hurt and be intellectually and emotionally hurt by each other. Physical and emotional changes cause pressures in the teenage years, as do changing relationships with parents and friends. Fighting with siblings as a way to get parental attention may increase in adolescence. Sibling rivalry can continue into adulthood and sibling relationships can change dramatically over the years. Events such as a parent’s illness may bring siblings closer together, whereas marriage may drive them apart, particularly if the in-law relationship is strained.
The Allah Team Radio Series presents:
"Introducing The Queens of the Allah Team"
And their special interview with Dr. Wesley Muhammad on his subject:
"The Black Woman Iz Goddess!"
When women are abused or allow themselves to be abused...it's because we don't know The Black Woman is a Goddess.
When women are disrespected or disrespect themselves ....it's because we don't know The Black Woman is a Goddess.
ALL of our problems stem from an improper view of ourselves as the Second Self of God. This trickles down to our communities, our families and our individual lives.
Join us tonight for this most essential discussion with Bro. Dr. Wesley Muhammad to deal with the religious and historic significance of the proper place of the Woman in relationship to God, Himself.
