Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding.
Many years ago I was asked to coach the Cross Lutheran Academic Prose team. Kaitlyn Anderson was on the 6th grade team. It has been an honor to get to know her and her family over these many years.
Tonight Kaitlyn announces her selection for college. Just as important she will talk about the trust she has put in God to help her make this selection that will certainly impact the trajectory of her life. Join us as we celebrate her selection, hear about the journey and most of all hear a powerful testimony about putting our trust in God.
Joshua 24:15 “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
Kaitlyn and I talk about one of our favorite subjects tonight; our Christian family. Our Christian family extends well beyond the limits of our homes and friends. We are a global family. Tonight, we talk about all things related to our Christian family, big and small.
That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3
Eating together as a church family is one of my favorite forms of fellowship. This week Lanelle Rudolph from St Paul Lutheran Church here in New Braunfels joins us to talk about their 2015 Wild Game Dinner. Join us for a delicious show!
All of your favorite characters were there in DISNEY'S ALADDIN JR. Filled with magic, mayhem, and dazzling carpet rides, this delightful musical will made spirits soar with excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Asham and Tim Rice with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" delighted audiences in New Braunfels last week!
Join us as we speak with Sandi Mitchell with Christian Youth Theater about the mission of CYT.
God's blessings and Happy New Year from Kaitlyn and Jason. It will be a year of many milestones. Join us as we talk about the new year and new directions and opportunites for our digital mission. For the first time in my life I sense that Christianity is on the decline. It is time to get back to basics. Far too many people are looking to be entertained at Church and the gospel is being lost beneath the bright lights and showtime atmosphere at many services. The pope may be the world's most visible apostate and fear keeps pastors and preachers from talking about the true enemy of our faith and humanity that is islam. Kaitlyn and I will do our part with our digital mission becasue just going to Church is not enough; we must defend and build God's kingdom where we are. Join us.

Colossians 1:10-14: Inheritance, rescue from evil, kingdom of God, redemption, forgiveness.
The Apostle Paul says "We have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spititual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strenh=gthen with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience and joyfully giving thanks to the father who has qualified yoy to share in the inheritence of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us in to the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:9-14)
Psalm 91:1 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Galatians 5:16-26: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Jasmine Kara was born 1988 in a small Swedish town to an Iranian father and a Swedish mother. Even as a little girl she knew that music was her calling. Jasmine started performing at talent shows and took every chance she could to get up on the stage. Writing, singing and performing was all she wanted to do, music was her muse and life ahead seemed beautiful for the Jasmine.
But we are able to mention what is more exalted than this: for do not think in your heart that God exists in a place. If you localize the Lord of all in a place, then it is fitting for you to say that the place is more exalted than he who dwells in it. For that which contains is more exalted than that which is contained. For there is no place which is called incorporeal. For it is not right for us to say that God is corporeal. For the consequence (would be) that we (must) attribute both increase and decrease to the corporeal, but also that he (God) who is subject to these will not remain imperishable.
Now, it is not difficult to know the Creator of all creatures, but it is impossible to comprehend the likeness of this One. For it is difficult not only for men to comprehend God, but it is (also) difficult for every divine being, (both) the angels and the archangels. It is necessary to know God as he is. You cannot know God through anyone except Christ, who has the image of the Father, for this image reveals the true likeness in correspondence to that which is revealed. A king is not usually known apart from an image.
Consider these things about God: he is in every place; on the other hand, he is in no place. With respect to power, to be sure, he is in every place; but with respect to divinity, he is in no place. So then, it is possible to know God a little. With respect to his power, he fills every place, but in the exaltation of his divinity, nothing contains him. Everything is in God, but God is not in anything.
Now what is it to know God? God is all which is in the truth. But it is as impossible to look at Christ as at the sun. God sees everyone; no one looks at him. But Christ, without being jealous, receives and gives. He is the Light of the Father, as he gives light without being jealous. In this manner he gives light to every place.
Important relegious developments also characterized the new urban civilalizations. All of them developed religions to explain the workings of the forces of nature and the facts of their own existence. Gods and Goddesses were often believed to be crucial to a community's success. There was no [God].
