    @Pkolo The Producer speaks 2 @VickensMoscova on working @ #Badboy & new projects

    in Music

Widens Dorsainville, also known as Pkolo “The Producer”, has been creating music since he was a child. “Creating has always been a part of me” says Pkolo, “I remember sitting at my table watching my Aunt Saundra blogging about music while she was studying to become a doctor”. Through experiences like this, he realized that music was a universal language that affected all people, whether they were in the industry, studying in school, or living on the street. Recognizing music’s broad appeal, Pkolo was inspired to channel his creativity through the medium of music, and he was determined to create that which would strongly affect those around him. In the year 1999, Pkolo relocated to New Jersey after separating from his family, who resided in Haiti. He found himself surrounded with various cultures and new experiences that he had never been exposed to. Curious and enthusiastic, he delved into these new experiences with an open mind. It was during this time that he discovered his true love; Hip Hop music. “I had always listened to hip hop but never really paid much attention to it. Then one day Hot 97 had put on this one song, (Quiet Storm by Mobb Deep), and I was immediately hooked” recalls Pkolo. Hip hop had found Pkolo. Pkolo had found his lifes work

Got Lemonade" What is Beyonce's message in the production Lemonade?

    in Culture

In my opinion, our social media and hip hop culture today has led people away from true art. Last weekend Beyoncé Knowles broadcasted a great piece of art.  No, it wasn't art you find at a gallery, but a visual portrayal of some of the trials and tribulations and resilience that many women experience.  It was an exhibit of true art.  When many people are asked their reaction to the HBO show "Lemonade", you'll find that it's usually not recognized the way I described above.  Did you see it? Did you like it? What's you opinion about Lemonade?

Also, an issue that continues to have a troublesome presence in our society is molestation. Recently, the story and accusations that Afrika Bambaattaa, founder of the Zulu Nation has been molesting young boys over the past 30-40 years.  Have you heard about this?  What's your position?

We will CHop it up about these topics and so much more tonight from Midnight – 2AM.  347-637-3528 on blogtalkradio.com/crankhouseradio

Live Interview with Bill Jenkins Pastor of the Church of Acts

    in Christianity

As this has been Men of Stature Month we're ending this month with a bang.  Our last Man of Stature will be non-other than Pastor Bill Jenkins, pastor of the Church of Acts in Indianapolis, IN. Yes, you heard, we’ve reached way out and he accepted the call to be on Man In The Mirror.

Pastor Bill Jenkins is the founder and Senior Pastor of the Church of A.C.T.S. as well as a television and radio host. Rapidly becoming known as an Apostle of God with a prophetic voice, he works to release a message of hope in our world. With deep spiritual revelation and insight from God’s Word, Pastor Bill takes the toughest passages of scripture and explains them in a practical and interesting way. He is the “go-to-guy” when it comes to understanding Biblical numbers and their scriptural significance. A devoted husband and father, his passion is for others to become successful as they apply the principles of Christ. Jenkins is a seasoned prophet whom God is raising up in the last of the last days, to tear down the devil’s strongholds, and to bring hope to the hopeless. As a seventeen-year-old with a strong passion for baseball, Bill Jenkins had an opportunity to sign a professional contract, but it was only three days before his 18th birthday when Jenkins had an encounter with God, which completely changed his life and future.

So join me Hezekiah L. Montgomery host of Man In The Mirror and Nichlle Johnson co-host on Friday April 27, 2016 at 9:00 P as we welcome Pastor Bill to our network.  Call in at 917-889-2271 or log in at www.blogtalkradio.com/man-in-themirror and talk to him as he helps us in our Men of Stature month.

Russell Blake returns to discuss Day After Never and whatever else he wants. LIVE

    in Books

Russell Blake never follows the script and host Pam Stack isn't going to try to guess what the conversation will be about tonight.    What we do know is that Russell's new book, The Day After Never is a solid 5 stars so chances are Russell will be pimping that. And Jet.  He'll probably take over the show again and see if he can drive the host completely over the edge this time.  Politics and conspiracies are sure to pop up too.  If you're looking for a nice relaxing evening of LIVE chat about books, don't bother stopping here.   (I'm going to ask about that little Central American country he overthrew earlier this year..and I want to know why his new profile picture doesn't look at all like the previous one - who is Russell Blake  hiding from?????)

    It's never boring.

Russell has written over 40 books in 4 years and has told millions of copies.  You know where to find him but just in case - http://russellblake.com.

And although the Board of Directors isn't sure about this particular show, it IS a trademarked copyrighted podcast solely owned by the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network L

Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) - 1345

    in Self Help

Tonight's special guest is Richard Sipe from La Jolla, California, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor who earlier spent 18 years as a Benedictine monk and priest. Now married, Richard is devoted full time to research into the sexual and celibate practices of Roman Catholic bishops and priests. That path has lead him to the study of the sexual teaching of the church and its effects on behavior - especially sexual abuse of minors by clergy - and the tangle of sexual problems that some people claim are blocking every religious agenda and destroying beyond repair the credibility of the Catholic Church in sexual matters. The Academy Award winning Best Picture for 2016, "Spotlight," featured his words as part of their investigation into clergy abuse. Richard was trained specifically to deal with the mental health problems of Roman Catholic Priests. In the process of training and therapy, he conducted a 25-year ethnographic study of the celibate / sexual behavior of that population. His study, first published in 1990, is now considered a classic. Richard has published six books that explore these themes, including A Secret World and Celibacy in Crisis.' Widely interviewed by media he's known internationally and has participated in 12 documentaries on celibacy and priest sexual abuse aired by HBO, BBC, and other networks in the United States, United Kingdom, and France. Richard has no professional sympathy for the cardinals and bishops and other ranking church officials who cover up their crimes. "Some of them are so terrible," he says. "I mean the plain lying that I've seen, bishop after bishop saying, 'No, this was never true. I don't know anything. I can't remember anything.' And sometimes the bishop just smiles. One bishop said, 'I only lie when I have to.'"
