Suicide is a sacred matter of life and death. As a result, due to the heartfelt comments, emails and outpouring of last week's show, Dr. Kemp has elected to extend this topic for one more week, offering an encore presentation for anyone that missed the show and is suffering with depression and suicidal thoughts. Her book: From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy ...." offers an extra bonus chapter on alternative holistic ways to deal with depression and suicidal thoughts in an attempt to assist the national agenda of healing depression. A topic that has been widely discussed throughout the world, in the news this month, due to the recent suicides of Simone Battle and Robin Williams, both of who Dr. Kemp has had separate shows in honor of. So if you know someone that is suffering with depression or angry a lot of the time, PLEASE send them the link to this show and the one dedicated to Robin. It could save their life!
Anyone with questions or comments are free to send your questions via www.drameliakemp.com (Radio Show link) and she will answer your questions next week on the show. Otherwise, please feel free to contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.

If you are depressed and/or have suicidal thoughts you should seek help as soon as you can. There is always a way to get out of a situation and suicide is never the answer; you need to remember that help is always available and that things will get better. Seeking psychotherapy is the surest way to relieve suicidal thoughts. However, not everyone is comfortable discussing these type of thoughts and problems face-to-face. If you are one of those people, it is important for you to know that there are also other ways you can get immediate help and one of them is a suicide chat online. This is much easier for many people as it is more impersonal and you are able to remain anonymous while sharing your thoughts and feelings. Even though online chatting can provide immediate relief and can certainly help you deal with suicidal thoughts, you should always remember that seeking help from a trained psychotherapist be able to help you improve your long-term life quality. Nonetheless, suicide chats online should not be overlooked if you feel you are in a crisis.
