SORT BY Relevancy
This episode is dedicated to all the victims of Roman Catholic abuse, whose pain was too much for them and they committed suicide.
I wrote a letter to the editor in response to Pope Francis asking priest abuse victims to forgive him and the church for our abuses. This is a part of that response:
"How can Paul Anthony Carson, whom upon seeing the priest whom raped him walking down the street and then going home and hanging himself, being found by his parents, forgive him?
How can Emma Foster, whom was raped by Father Kevin O'Donnell, while at a primary school whom committed suicide because of it, forgive him?
How can Daniel Neill, whom committed suicide because of his rapist priest, Joseph Gallagher, forgive him?
How can the 30 boys raped at the St Alipius primary school, whom committed suicide forgive him for their rapes?
There are about a thousand or more victims of these evil crimes who committed suicide. Tonight, we honor their memory and call to task the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, all of the Cardinals, Bishops and Archbishops, priests, nuns and parishioners, who have ignored this evil and to correct it immediately.
These brothers and sisters of ours...deserve no less.
Join Catholic speaker and author Gary Zimak as he continues his walk through the Catechism by taking a closer look at the Catholic Church. Learn how the Church is God's way of gathering His people together. In addition, Gary will read and discuss the gospel from Tuesday of the 2nd week of Easter. Make it a point to listen in and learn why the Church is so important.
The show's guest this night is Charles Tolbert. We will discuss the changing relations between the Unitd States and Cuba and the parts President Obama and the Catholic Church are playing. Is this a positive development for America and what does it say about the Catholic Church's Pope Francis? Does this also foreshadow an increased influx of Cuban (il)legal immigration into America? If so, will this create greater influence to Marco Rubio in his campaign for the GOP Presidential nomination? Join the host Robert Jetter, Jr., panelists Activist Cindy Todd, Constitutional scholar Kelly Mordecai, and Dan Gray former columnist of the Washington Times. Call in and you stay on the show. Bishop James was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was raised Roman Catholic. He attended a Roman Catholic grade school and it was during the time while he was attending kindergarten that he knew that he had a calling to serve as a priest. His mother had asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and James pointed at the priest and said, “I want to do what he does.”
From then on, his calling to serve as a priest grew stronger as the years progressed until he decided to join the seminary and begin his formation.
James attended St. Meinrad College but because of financial problems, the school had to close its doors. Therefore, he transferred to Loyola University in Chicago and graduated.
He continued his priestly studies by joining Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. It was during this time that James began working closely with his spiritual director and through prayer, he decided that God was calling him to serve as a priest within the Independent Catholic Church.
Because of his theological differences with the Roman Catholic Church, James felt that it was better to be ordained within the Independent Catholic Church. This decision was not an easy one and it was a decision that he made out of respect for the Roman Catholic Church and his calling.
He is currently the Archbishop for the United States Old Catholic Church and offers Spiritual and Life help for those who seek his assistance.
Teach me your way, O Lord! (Psalm 86:11)
In this episode of The Gary Zimak Show, we'll begin to walk through the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Why is that important? Throughout the centuries, God has revealed Himself gradually to His people. When the time was right, He sent His Son to become flesh and be our Savior. Jesus founded a Church and through that Church He reveals Himself to us in great detail. Living in this day and age, we have the benefit of being able to study two thousand years of Church teaching. That teaching is contained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. As we step through it, we'll get to know the Father, Son and Holy Spirit a lot better than we do now. As a result, we'll be able to share them with others. This will be a one of a kind series. Don't miss it!

“Is the Catholic church the only true church? Or the longest running cult in history?” asks World Cult Watch host Rob Robinson.
In this segment, which will be co-hosted with Colleen Sautez, the hosts will talk about the fact that the Roman Catholic Church is an attractive target for conspiracy theorists, due in large part to its elaborate and sometimes mysterious rituals. The church’s alleged associations with secret societies like the Knights Templar and brand of Jesuit priests accused of being a mafia-like arm of the church have also helped to create the sense of intrigue.. The idea of the pope as antichrist plays a central role in the anti-Catholic conspiracy theories. This notion dates back to the Protestant Reformation, when Martin Luther, whose complaints about financial and theological improprieties of the Church set off a schism within Western Christianity.
In a more tangible way, the recent scandals involving child abuse, including molestation by priests, have tainted the image of the Catholic church.
But is the church a cult? Call Rob and Colleen to share your opinion.
World Cult Watch is a weekly program that airs every Sunday night. Bob runs the “World Cult Watch” website, offering insight and hard-hitting stories about the teachings of various abusive and authoritarian cults. In his show and website, Rob also offers comfort for ex-cult members struggling with the guilt, grief, anger and other emotions associated with spiritual abuse.

Feast of the Presentation of The Lord with Fr. Daniel Kelley, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arlington TX. Today's homily is on the Feast of the PResentation of The Lord. On this fortieth day after Christmas, we find yet another reason to celebrate the great incarnation of Jesus Christ our Lord. This day was traditionally the end of a much longer Christmas season than what we currently observe, and in the midst of continuing winter darkness it is good to recall yet again the true Light of the world. Let us enter joyfully into this celebration, and together with Simeon and Anna announce salvation to all the world.
