Cody Campanale is an emerging filmmaker and accomplished TV editor. His directorial debut was the award winning short film ROOFIES & ROMANCE, produced with the financial participation of the SAW Video Co-op. It has screened at 7 international film festivals, including: The Atlanta Underground Film Festival, the NSI's Online Short Film Festival, and the Ottawa International Film Festival. It won an Award of Merit at the 2010 California Indie Fest and has recently been purchased by the University of Ottawa for educational purposes. This summer, he co-directed a 1 minute film entitled RIDE THE ROCKET for the 2010 Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF). TUFF is a 10 day public film festival that reaches 1.3 million daily commuters on the ONESTOP TTC subway platform screens. Urban-themed films from across Canada and around the world play every 10 minutes on 270 screens in 50 subway stations across Toronto this September. Also this month, Cody is participating in the Reel World Film Festival's Indie Film Lounge "Emerging 20" Program; where he is be given the opportunity to sit down for exculsive face2face meetings with some of the most powerful members in the Canadian and international film industry. He is currently finishing post-production for his third short film TEACH'ER, and in pre-production for his new film SCARS, which is scheduled to go to camera in October.
