Actor Robert Nolan is a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honors Degree in English and Drama. 'LAVENDER FIELDS' is the latest of a four-film collaboration with director Alfredo Salvatore Arcilesi and a sensitive exploration of longing, loss and renewal in worlds of silence and sound. Robert loves to work in cutting-edge dramas ('EYES BEYOND,' 'WORM,' 'SCENT OF ROSEMARY' 'BLIND SPOT' 'HYDE') and unusual comedies ('INSIDE STEVE'S MIND: HITLER'S APOLOGY,' 'DAVID SUZUKI?', 'GLADIATOR!'). He has acted on stage ('REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE,' 'BETHUNE'), on TV ('ZERO HOUR: FALLING STAR COLUMBIA,' 'BRAIN ATTACK,' 'COLD BLOOD,' 'OUTLAW BIKERS'. 'BREAKOUT: TEXAS 7') and on radio. Robert had principal roles in the crime-drama feature 'LUCKY 7' as an Irish bar-owner in an Irish-Mafia war and as the strange guest in the psycho-thriller feature 'A DATE WITH FEAR.' He seeks out challenging roles that spur his growth as an actor. He is the lead in the disturbing psychological portrait of a teacher in 'WORM,' the seeming suburban father in the surprisingly twisted shock-horror 'EYES BEYOND' (produced by Elizabeth Rizzuto) and a powerful and elusive senator in the mysterious feature 'UFO CHARLIE.' He also stars as the big lost kid in the music video 'BULLY' by hip-hop star D.O. now playing on Much Music. Invited to compete as a 'star' in 'DANCING WITH THE LOCAL STARS' (at Caesars' Palace), Robert trained with a professional competitive teacher and found a new joy in this wonderful and highly disciplined world.
