Dr. Lanier gives excellent advice to anyone who desires to make a career transition and the way to go about it. Dr. Dayo Lanier desires to focus on teaching children how to stay healthy, rather than treating them after the fact, led her to transition from practicing medicine, into the world of consulting. Dr. Lanier received her early education in Buffalo, NY at City Honors School. In 2007, Dr. Lanier started Pediatric Wellness Consultants, a consulting company focused on developing and implementing community-based health, fitness and nutrition education programs for children and their families.Soon after, Dr. Lanier began writing and recording children’s songs which encouraged exercise and dance, inspired healthy eating and promoted self-confidence, through lyrics geared just for that purpose. Her debut single, “Drink More Water,” was released in August 2010.Since that time, Dr. Lanier has had the extraordinary opportunity to explore her unique path in life and find ways to make full use of her natural gifts and talents.
