He has traveled throughout the United State and Latin America and has studied the progress of people of African descent to measure realistically how much progress has been made since slavery and Jim Crow ended. He is convinced that one of the reasons there is still such a societal lag for African Americans is due to low self-esteem and a poor self-image that is perpetuated by the macro social institutions. He is committed to eradicating this psychological conditioning and helping all minorities improves their self-esteem and the quality of their lives.
