Recently, Nick Cannon tweeted, "If I see another damn slave movie...ARRRGGGGHHH!!!  I think they keep making them because they want to keep Black folks on edge..."

Tonight, join me as I sit down with filmmaker and founder of The Black Cinema Film Fund as he shares with us some of the films and other projects he's working on, such as Space Race, a story about Black Astronaut, Robert H. Lawrence who should have been the first Black Astronaut and what kept him from that mission.  We will also explore how we can collectively, as a community tell our own story and support those writers in the industry when they do create these projects so that we don't just see the typical, drug dealer, pimp, thug and Madea style movies that inundate our theaters.  It's time to tell and support our own stories about from whence we came!  You don't want to miss this show!
