Vladimir Putin's history of corruption/scandals/accrued wealth

Michael Flynn got up to $45,000 from speeches by a speaker's bureau connected with Russia.  He also lobbied on behalf of a company with the Turkish government.  We will cover his background and Russian history.  Russia was trying to use him to loosen sanctions.

Vladimir Putin has had a lifetime of scandal.  After serving as a KGB agent, he became a deputy mayor of St. Petersburg.  He initiated a scandal to sell oil/minerals to cover food shortages.  The food never arrived.  His exposure was protected by the government.  Later on, when he became prime minister under the appointment of Boris Yeltsin, he initiated a series of apartment explosions that were created with military stocks, special powder and military detonaters.  He used this to deflect Yeltsin's corruption and start a proxy war in Chechnya.  He alienated outspoken oligarchs & had private $$ laundering thru Frankfurt, Germany.  Even Gerhard Schroeder covered up his scandals. He has accumulated wealth but not respect.
