ABOUT T-JUNCTION T-Junction – The Radio Show, seeks to connect audiences in order to discover each other, through the diverse music of Tsidii. Tsidii has coined thedescription – MUSIC FOR A NEW WORLD. It can be enjoyed by people from a wide variety of tastes with an openness to a fresh and original sound. In “music for a new world”, categories are of no importance, but the sincerely, artistry and essence of an artist is paramount. For those who enjoy artists who are unique, powerful, and original – T-Junction is your show! On T-Junction, Tsidii chats about her music; the places she has been; growing up in apartheid South Africa; performing on stages around the world; her very interesting history and creative collaborations with other shows and artists. She plays the music of her journeys and also on accession features guests on her show. Each show features a particular song and a discussion of the life journey which creates the story of the song. ABOUT THE FOUNDER / HOST (www.tsidii.com) T- Junction is hosted by Tsidii Le Loka Lupindo (she goes by the name Tsidii). Tsidii is the Tony Award Nominated and original star of the most successful Broadway musical in history, The Lion King On Broadway; the only African to have originated the lead role in the play; the winner of the most top awards for the show; and the only lead performer who also contributed on the creation of the show as composer. Among various and several endeavors in the cultural and arts world, Tsidii is also a former continuity presenter for M-Net TV in South Africa; a role she enjoyed briefly in the midst of her successful career in South Africa prior to coming to the United States.
