Meet the Founder and Director of DIvine Women of Faith, Cherisse Collins, originally from Detroit, Michigan. She is married to Jonathan Collins and they have a beautiful daughter Jonovia Collins. In 2003 Cherisse and her family relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. Not long after relocating to the area she began her search for a church that she and her family could call home. Cherisse says: "The search for my new 'home church' ended when God lead me to Malaby’s Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Knightdale, North Carolina. My family and I have felt so blessed to have been embraced with love and kindness from our new 'church family'. Cherisse has always shared a real passion for helping others. "I don't feel that you have to be at the 'highest peak' in your life to lend a helping hand or to share words of encouragement to those who are hurting or in need". "I do, however, believe that you have to be lead and inspired by God and that you must lead by example". "We never really know the impact that we can make on the lives of others until we stand and be counted". It is that desire that inspires her on a daily basis and helped inspire her to start her own ministry, 'Divine Women of Faith'.
