Linda Furiya has focused much of her career on her two passions: writing and food.  For over fifteen-years, the author and business owner has written for numerous food, travel, and lifestyle publications on Asian food and culture a column for the award winning San Francisco Chronicle’s food section. Linda has published two food memoirs entitled Bento Box In The Heartland: My Japanese Girlhood Growing Up In Whitebread America and How To Cook A Dragon: Living, Loving, and Eating In China. Linda currently resides in Vermont  with her son and wire-haired dachshund and works for a high-profile entrepreneur, manages her Yum Dragon line of frozen dumplings and sauces, and writes a weekly food blog called Howtocookadragon.com.
