In 2010, a diagnosis of inoperable brain cancer forced Karen to face her own mortality and begin preparing herself – and her family – for her death and conscious departure. Two years later a miraculous recovery gave her a second chance at life, and the opportunity to continue pursuing the spiritual freedom she longed for.
