• Hawaiians got quite a shock when they received news of an incoming ballistic missile and were assured in the text alert that “this is not a drill.”  It wasn’t a drill, but it was a mistake.
• President Donald Trump may receive some competition for most tweet-happy politician! Apparently emoji-filled tweets aren’t enough for Chelsea Manning because she has filed papers to run for the Senate in Maryland.
• Back in November, it was revealed that Washington Post reporter Janell Ross had attended a meeting of the progressive Democracy Alliance where she offered Democrats advice on economic messaging. “attended by Democratic lawmakers and liberal activists, including the billionaire benefactor George Soros”
• Politicians denounced Trump, Anderson Cooper cried, and no one thought to ask whether or not Trump actually said was the WaPo accused him of saying. Because in the age of confirmation bias as a substitution for facts, why bother?
