Welcome to Dr. Rosemarie Rose.  

Dr. Rose is an integrative medical doctor based in Northern Virginia.  She strives to discover the underlying cause of disease and address it by ridding the body of what is harming it.  and giving the body what it needs to thrive.  She recommends lifestyle and nutrition modifications, careful use of supplements and medications when necessary, and complementary therapies to address an individual's needs.  

Dr. Rose earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her Family Medicine residency at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program,  part of the medical college of Virginia.  She practiced a full range of family medicine with Fairfax Family Practice and affiliated practices until joining Steinmetz Medical Associates in Alexandria, Virginia.  She has also served as Assistant Clinical Professor  of Family Medicine for the medical college of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.  Today she is pursuing her passion for Functional and Integrative approaches to medicine and patient care.  More information about Dr. Rose and today's topic "Detoxification and Healing" and related topics can be found at www.caringdoc.com.
