In this episode of "The Global Voice" I will be interviewing Ann Medlock, Founding Mother of the"Giraffe Heroes Project". "Giraffe" is a not-for-profit organization that identifies individuals globally who are sticking their necks out for the greater good of humanity.  There are adult "giraffes" and there are children "giraffes", but one thing they all have in common is that they are courageous, compassionate and are making a huge difference in the world.

Ann's many accomplishments include novelist, poet, former editor of the Viet Nam Presse in Saigon; Chair of the Children's Cultural foundation in New York; freelance writer for magazines and corporations and speechwriter to the Aga Khan.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland and recently published her first book of poetry. Her husband John Graham is a former U.S. Diplomat and serves as Project's Director of Operations and its principal speaker and workshop leader.
