I loved your old saying that sticks and stones may break your bones but names will never hurt me. Names do hurt. I was watching Hucklebee last night and he had a young lady on whose teacher had made a comment about her being on welfare. She is around forty and it still brought tears to her eyes. Nasty names hurt for a long time.

POST ABORTIVE CARE -Melony Materi and her husband currently reside in Canada. Together they have five children, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Melony currently serves as Executive Director for Options Pregnancy Centre. Her work with Options began in a volunteer capacity where she focused her attention on Post Abortive Care. Her personal journey gave her great insight into this neglected area of care and has helped her walk through this painful process with many others. Melony’s personal journey is riddled with adoption, pregnancy, abortion, molestation, divorce and the list goes on. Through her work she was one of the first of three women to speak to the UN on Post-Abortive Care. Her story has been featured throughout the media. Most recently, Melony, traveled to Zambia to share her story with over 2000 children ranging in age from 14 to 18.
