As we start to emerge from winters covering we often think of doing a "detox" or "cleansing". Winter foods are usually much heavier, we wear more clothing and are enclosed in environments where the air is recirculated. A body cleanse is a good way to get the body "jump started," rejuvenated and lightened up for Spring. There are certain foods that help our bodies detox naturally and one family is the "leafy green" family. As we move into spring these are readily available as "greens" are a spring vegetable. Susan's guest will be Chris McKee, CNC, who comes to the field of nutrition with over 20 years of experience in whole-food cooking, healthy lifestyle coaching, individual nutritional counseling and speaking to hundreds of people about the role of good nutrition in preventing disease. She specializes in anti-aging of the body and the skin.
