What if the fairy tales you think you know are not what you were told? What if Cinderella empowered herself and brought herself to the ball? Do you know the actual tales and their true healing power? Inspirational author, counselor and professor Dr. Allan G. Hunter returns to the show to explore the ways in which the original Grimm brothers' tales provide real, vital insights into how to live more happily, embrace personal growth and find that significant other (no kissing of frogs required).

Allan's innovative book Princes, Frogs and Ugly Sisters: The Healing Power of the Grimm Brothers' Tales uses actual case histories to show how the odd and bizarre episodes in fairy tales are actually astounding renditions of human behaviors that occur during times of crisis. Allan also reveals the presence of the six archetypal stages of psychological development in these tales and in everyday life.

With a PhD in English Literature from Oxford University, Allan is the author of 12 life-changing books, including Gratitude and Beyond: Five Insights for a Fulfilled Life, The Path of Synchronicity: Align Yourself with Your Life's Flow, The Six Archetypes of Love: From Innocent to Magician and many more.

A full professor at Curry College in the Boston area & an expert in therapeutic writing, Allan started his career working with troubled adolescents, later teaching prisoners in Massachusetts. He provides one-on-one assistance through his spiritual counseling.
