Steve and Renee Gillis just celebrated their 13th anniversary and have 2 beautiful children.  Rachel is 5 years old and Judah will be 2 this August.  "Perfect Storm" is a great way to describe what happened to this family.  Their youngest child, Judah, was born with a cleft palate and a connective tissue disorder called Pierre Robin Syndrome.  Steve had just transitioned from a staff position at a local church to start a non profit for orphans when Judah arrived.  And, then their world came to a screeching halt.  Our son's life was in jeopardy because he was choking on his tongue sometimes up to 7X a day and Renee was having major complications when we returned from the hospital.  This is certainly a story of how one family has emerged from the darkness of terrible storm and has come out on the other side.  Now, they want to tell their story in hopes of helping others.
