Surviving the Times 101

Joseph, the Pharaoh, and seven zombie cows! The old testament contains many stories of what we should be doing in regards to preparing for the coming times. The story of Joseph is just one of those stories, and I find it to be quite enlightening as a source of inspiration.

Why is it an important story? Because it tells of a time of famine, and how that time came about. There was seven years of prosperity followed by seven years of severe famine, and Joseph explained to Pharaoh how to rise above the tragedy and reign as the supreme ruler of all the lands. This was of course advice from God through Joseph, but Pharaoh did as suggested, and what occurred in those days is occurring in these days.
