A Chat in the Garden with Monique A.J. Smith

Courtney Lovely serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations as well as Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) and began her tenure at Palm Beach Atlantic in August 2015.

Lovely’s role within PBA Athletics includes overseeing all business operations of the department, handling gender equity and Title IX issues as well as oversight of all mandatory reports for the institution to the NCAA and Sunshine State Conference. She also acts as an advocate for student-athlete and staff concerns within the department and serves as the staff liaison for the institution’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Lovely has a diverse background within intercollegiate athletics administration and most recently spent her previous four years working at the NCAA National Office.

While at the NCAA Lovely has gained valuable experience most recently as an Assistant Director in Academic and Membership Affairs while providing valuable assistance on legislation to institutions within the NCAA Division II membership.
