On May 31st, 2002, President George W. Bush proclaimed the month of June to be Black Music Month. Recognition of this is a critical part of the American heritage. African-American musicians, singers, and composers have contributed an immense amount to our nation's history. It should be acknowledged and celebrated and will be in today's episode. From the KALD Internet Radio studio in Elkhorn Village, Idaho and the Sun Valley Lodge in Sun Valley, Idaho. DJ Aaron D will play 3 hours of great music by African American artists from the 1930's through today. Artist include in this show include Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Kirk Franklin, Nat King Cole, and Louie Armstrong. No phone calls will be taken during the show and the show will be all music and no talk. As we still are having mic problems.
